FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DOCUMENTAL Y CORTOMETRAJE DE BILBAO
Fundado en 1959 y organizado actualmente por el Área de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Bilbao, en colaboración con la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, el Departamento de Cultura del Gobierno Vasco y el Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte (ICAA), ZINEBI celebra su 66ª edición del 8 al 15 de noviembre de 2024.
ZINEBI, único festival internacional de Clase A en España en la categoría de cortometraje y documental reconocido desde 1974 por parte de la FIAPF (Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Productores de Films), está acreditado por la Academia de Hollywood como calificador de los Oscars entre los cortometrajes del palmarés oficial y es festival calificador para los Premios Europeos EFA, los británicos BAFTA y los Premios Goya.
ZINEBI es un festival que alberga todas las formas y formatos más actuales, innovadores y sugerentes y que hace una firme apuesta por los autores emergentes. El line-up de la programación internacional de los cortometrajes (documental, animación y ficción) y su sección ZIFF-ZINEBIFIRST FILM, dedicada a las óperas primas, son sus señas de identidad más evidentes. Destacan también los Mikeldis de Honor, que reconocen la prestigiosa trayectoria de distinguidos directores internacionales, y la rigurosa selección de sus secciones BEAUTIFUL DOCS, dedicada a los largometrajes contemporáneos más relevantes, y BERTOKO BEGIRADAK, dedicada a los largometrajes documentales vascos de producción reciente. Además, se celebra cada año el encuentro profesional denominado ZINEBI INDUSTRY-NETWORKING, dedicado a impulsar la industria audiovisual vasca.
Highlands Film Festival first time brings a more diversified and pioneer film festival in the town of Highlands, where the idea is to excel creative independent film direction through diversity, innovation, and uniqueness to capture the series of movements and experiences in a single film. The FIFAK is a film festival organized by the Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers .

REGULATIONS : The FIFAK includes the following events :

FRAPA – The Porto Alegre Screenwriting Festival – is the largest event focused in scriptwriting for television and film in Latin America. The 8th FRAPA will be held at Cinemateca Capitólio, from the 14th to 17th of July, 2020. Our aim is to discuss and strengthen the significance of screenplay writing in times of rising in TV and film production in Brazil and in the whole continent.
Inspired by similar festivals in the United States and Europe, FRAPA has grown in size throughout the years, organizing debate sessions, competitions, workshops, screenings, master classes and business rounds. We intend to make FRAPA a reference for the thought of audiovisual writing in Latin America. By encouraging the exchange of experiences between screenwriters and other professionals in the audiovisual market, we create an opportunity for qualification and celebrate new partnerships.
FRAPA has received many renown professionals throughout its three editions. To name a few: James V. Hart (Dracula, Hook, Contact), Bráulio Mantovani (City of God e Elite Squad 1 e 2), Fernando Castets (Son of the Bride), Marcos Bernstein (Central Station), Pablo Stoll (25 Watts and Whisky), Luiz Bolognesi (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury), Lisandro Alonso (Jauja) and many others.

El Quinto Festival Internacional de Cine de Slemani tendrá lugar este mes de octubre y reunirá a reconocidos cineastas de los escenarios nacionales e internacionales. El festival de este año contará con siete secciones competitivas, con un total de 19 premios que se entregarán. El tema del festival se centrará en la lengua kurda y la lengua materna, y pondrá de relieve la identidad lingüística y cultural a través del cine.
La Asociación 400 Colpi es una organización sin fines de lucro creada con el objetivo de promover películas que, gracias a su lenguaje, estilo, historia y temas, estén destinadas a un público joven y adulto.
vvfilmf es sinónimo de calidad cinematográfica y representa una ventana al mundo juvenil. No es solo un festival de cine. Es una experiencia. Es un momento cultural importante para los jóvenes que une y cultiva.
A lo largo de los años, vvfilmf ha creado eventos que descubren espacios para jóvenes, talleres para el estudio de nuevas formas de expresión visual. #vvfilmf se presenta como una iniciativa dirigida a todo el país e internacionalmente, con la intención de satisfacer las expectativas tanto de la población joven como de los televidentes adultos.
El objetivo es acercar al público en general a las formas cinematográficas de calidad. A pesar de que la programación del festival tiene un público preferencial formado por niños, jóvenes en edad escolar y estudiantes universitarios, abre sus puertas con entusiasmo a los adultos y a todos aquellos interesados en el arte cinematográfico, fascinados por la cultura artística y visual, apasionados por la educación, la pedagogía, la diversión educativa y el simple entretenimiento.
El festival representa una excelente oportunidad para mostrar nuevos caminos educativos, ofrecer un programa de actividades culturales que se renueva constantemente y para proponer, a través del medio cinematográfico, habilidades respetuosas y reflexiones fructíferas abiertas a todos los miembros de la escuela.

Entre las colaboraciones plurianuales desarrolladas por #VVFILMF se encuentran las de RAI Cinema, la Fundación para el Entretenimiento y Lancia Europa, así como con RAI Radio 2 y RAI Educational.
Gracias a la alta calidad de la selección de películas en competición y a la profesionalidad demostrada a lo largo de los años, vvfilmf ha sido elegida por el presidente de la Fundación Bienal, Paolo Baratta, y el director del Festival Internacional de Cine de Venecia, para seleccionar a un grupo de jóvenes miembros del jurado y acompañarlos en el mundo del cine internacional durante el Festival Internacional de Cine de Venecia.
El festival internacional de cine independiente de la Ciudad de México STUFF MX celebra su onceaba edición del 22 al 30 de agosto de 2026 y abre su convocatoria oficial a cineastas, videoastas y realizadores audiovisuales de todo el mundo a registrar todos sus materiales fílmicos, videos musicales; en todos los formatos, géneros y categorías de cualquier duración, en animación, documental y ficción la cual estará vigente a partir del 1 de septiembre del 2025 y hasta el 31 de mayo de 2026 a las 23:59 CST (CST), hora de la Ciudad de Washington, D.C. (CST), hora de la Ciudad de México.

JIFF is the World's Biggest Competitive Film Festival (in fiction films).
The Jaipur International Film Festival, the world's fastest growing film festival, is held every year in January in Jaipur, India but 2026 edition will be organized in New Delhi (Capital of India).
Launched in January 2009, Jaipur International Film Festival -JIFF became expanding establishing name in organizing world film festival every year in Rajasthan.
The purpose of this film festival is to promote new movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India & other nations in context of their social and cultural ethos. El Festival Internacional de Cine de Montaña Ushuaia Shh… es un proyecto educativo y cultural nacido en Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, que se realiza anualmente en la temporada invernal desde el año 2007. Sin fines comerciales y organizado por un colectivo multidisciplinar gracias al apoyo de instituciones públicas y privadas, el Ushuaia SHH… tiene por objetivo contribuir con el fortalecimiento de una cultura saludable de vinculación y respeto por la naturaleza en general y específicamente del entorno de montaña. A través de un completo programa de proyecciones de películas en muestra y competencia, disertaciones y charlas, talleres, workshops y actividades deportivas, el festival se torna un marco de visibilización, construcción y consolidación del género de cine de montaña en la región. En reconocimiento de estos objetivos hemos sido elegidos representantes regionales para Latinoamérica de la Alianza Internacional para el Cine de Montaña (IAMF).
El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Zahora en Corto, es un concurso de cortometrajes.
La filosofía de Zahora en Corto es apostar por el cine de calidad, tanto de bajo como de alto presupuesto: Un certamen independiente que valora los trabajos bien hechos.
Para dar oportunidades al cine emergente, que puede ser de gran calidad, aunque tenga menos recursos, se incluye una cuota mínima de finalistas amateur, siempre y cuando reúnan unas calidades mínimas valoradas por la organización.
Durante una semana el Anfi Teatro Zahora, un teatro al aire libre situado en el enclave histórico de Trafalgar, se convierte en cine de verano en el que se proyectan los mejores cortometrajes inscritos en el festival.

FECINEU abre sus inscripciones para la competencia oficial 2020, que en su V edición se renueva y presenta sus categorías:

El Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Neuquén -FECINEU- tiene como objetivo principal difundir las Producciones Cinematográficas Latinoamericanas y como objetivo general establecer un nexo entre los realizadores y el público, siendo un punto de encuentro Cinematográfico Internacional.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de León FICL, invita a participar a todos los cineastas en la Convocatoria Oficial FICL 2025 a partir del 1 de abril al 5 de agosto del presente año pudiendo postularse con largometraje, cortometraje y documental corto de ficción, no ficción o animación para formar parte de la Undécima Edición consecutiva a realizarse entre el 5 de noviembre al 9 de Noviembre del presente año. Los seleccionados podrán ser parte de las tres secciones competitivas del festival: Talento Internacional, Talento Local y Talento Universitario.

La pasada edición Hemoglozine obtuvo una excelente valoración de público y crítica, consolidándose como uno de los certámenes más importantes del país en los géneros de terror y fantástico.
El Festival de Cine de Saturnia busca descubrir, apoyar e inspirar a artistas de cine y teatro independientes de todo el mundo y presentar al público (miembros de la industria y amantes del cine) su nuevo trabajo. El Comité Artístico del Festival de Cine de Saturnia estudiará proyectos que cuentan historias sobre temas universales impulsados por una voz individual y auténtica.
El Festival de Cine de Saturnia tiene lugar durante cinco días, del 28 al 31 de julio de 2022 en la plaza de Sorano, Manciano, Montemerano y Terme di Saturnia (Grosseto, Italia).

El Festival Internacional de Cine HARD:LINE tiene como objetivo presentar las diversas caras del cine extremo.
La pregunta sobre qué se entiende por el término «extremo» puede entenderse consultando el contenido de nuestra amplia selección de películas fantásticas. El término «extremo» suele definirse mediante una estética explícita de salpicaduras, pero también puede representarse mediante métodos narrativos poco habituales o un lenguaje visual exótico. Por lo tanto, estamos seleccionando meticulosamente los ejemplos que podrían ser importantes en el futuro del género. No nos hemos fijado límites en nuestra búsqueda y tanto si una película es una perla de la escena independiente como si es divertida o obvia, ¡a H:LIFF le encantan las películas especiales!
El Festival Internacional de Cine HARD:LINE no es un festival donde la prioridad es proyectar tantas películas como sea posible, sino que se concentra en presentar algunos ejemplos brillantes de todo lo que puede ser el cine extremo.

Manlleu Film Festival es un festival de cortometrajes que tiene lugar en Manlleu (Barcelona). Esta es la 17ª edición de un festival que comenzó en 2003. En los últimos años, el Festival ha seleccionado más de 600 cortometrajes, y alrededor de 12.000 directores y productores han decidido inscribir sus cortometrajes.
Hoy en día, con una audiencia de más de 600 espectadores cada año, el Festival de Cine de Manlleu es un festival de cine consolidado internacionalmente.
El festival se centra en aquellas películas que exploran los límites entre la realidad y la ficción.
El CINE ANIMAL FEST, es un festival por los Derechos de los Animales, organizado y presentado en la ciudad de Bogotá- Colombia, que a partir del cine y otras manifestaciones artísticas, cuestiona nuestra relación con los demás animales, con el propósito de contribuir en la construcción de un nuevo mundo, libre y justo para todas la especies.
El «Festival Tels Quels» será organizado por la asociación sin fines de lucro «Tels Quels» en Bruselas en octubre de 2024.
El Festival Tels Quels es un evento dirigido al público en general, diseñado para promover y difundir la cultura LGBT (lesbiana, gay, bisexual y transgénero). En este marco, se está celebrando un concurso de cortometrajes LGBT.
