Student Cuts film festival is aimed at young authors in the early stages of their film careers. Their independence lets them work on unconventional, creative, energetic and subtle ideas. Such films are an important insight into the local environments and everyday themes seen from a different perspective. By joining Student Cuts network the authors not only gain access to the big screen, but a network of audiences all over Europe, contacts with experts and simply gain exposure. Detroit’s Trinity International Film Festival. The festival takes place August 20-23, 2020 in beautiful Downtown Detroit at The Marlene Boll Theater, 1401 Broadway, Detroit, Michigan and The Carr Center Gallery. The TI Film Festival has hosted industry professionals locally and nationally to share their knowledge and expertise in various workshops and industry discussions. In 2007 Joaquín Ortega (Director, actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator) created under his trademark NOIDENTITY his international stuntmen team. In 2010 he founded the independent production company NOIDENTITY Films and has already produced two films privately and a program TV. In 2013 he continues to advance its intention to generate film industry and makes the first action film festival in Spain.
So this way born NIAFFS (NOIDENTITY - International Action Film Festival - Spain), with the intention of generating film industry and promote international action films.
The mission of the Au Contraire film festival (ACFF) is to showcase stirring and thought-provoking films that explore issues of mental illness from different angles.
In a culture that stigmatizes people living with mental illness, the ACFF challenges audiences to see the personal behind the labels—stories of hope, stories of suffering and, often, a mixture of both. It calls on filmmakers to help us look at our human shadows with greater compassion.
The festival is held in the stunning theatre of Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts. Films are complemented by post-screening panel discussions inviting audience participation. Panelists have included directors, subjects of documentaries, youth living with a mental illness and leading professionals in the field.
The ACFF is the only completely bilingual, French and English, mental health film festival in the world.
Our previous two years surpassed our expectations for success by standards too usual to mention save our favourite one: an entertained and engaged audience that did not want the panel discussions to end.

The Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival: The principal objective of the GUKIFF Kids International Film Festival is to present the best of contemporary and classic film for children, youth and families. Its mandate is to feature the most outstanding children’s films produced in every part of the world. Films are selected on the basis of quality and originality. Preference will be given to films not previously screened at a festival in Korea. Our shade can be a real problem.
It is that side of our humanity, which we prefer to keep hidden, and which makes us act questionably.
This shadow, is in part, what has led us to cause a terrible impact on the environment.
Deforestation, oil spills, pollution of soils and seas, annihilation of species, violation of indigenous rights and assassinations of environmental defenders.
This shadow, individual and collective, is projected from the big cities over our ecosystems and under the protection of state legality and private investments in favor of “progress and industrialization”.
In times where the imbalance we have caused in the environment, comes back at us like climate disasters and nature embezzles, it behooves us to dare to look back at this shadow.
We have a responsibility to understand its impact, point out those projecting it and demand regulations to defend those it affects.
They say that the first step to solving a problem is to identify it and today, through cinema, we seek to acknowledge our actions, to stop the advance of their consequences on our unique natural environment.
ENVIRONMENTAL FILM FESTIVAL SEMBRANDO CINE – XII EDITION
RECOGNIZING OUR SHADOW
The Asian Summer Film Festival wants to present the Asian culture through the popular cinematography produced in the countries of the continent.
The Festival has several categories such as a competitive section, retrospectives, screenings for children and theme nights. Last year, 40 titles from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Corea, Japan and India were shown, some of them were World and International festival premieres, European festival premieres or Spanish festival premieres. The 18 films programmed in the official section competed for the Jury Prize, the Lucky Cat Award, given by the audience to the best film in-competition, and the Critics’ Choice Award.
The Festival is organized by the CinemArt Association of Pineda de Mar, it is an International festival with the objective of promoting a specific space for the discovery, screening and dissemination of short films.
The main thematic axis of the festival is comedy; However, the theme and genre of the productions is free. Quality and originality will be prioritized as the main objective, and that the production be unprecedented.
The 10th Pineda de Mar International Short Film Festival will be held from September 23 to September 28, 2024.
The program of the 2024 Pineda de Mar International Short Film Festival. It will integrate different activities focused on publicizing the selected short films and promoting different aspects of the world of cinema in Pineda de Mar, with the collaboration of the Pineda de Mar City Council and entities local.

Loch Ness Film Festival is a small grassroots film festival run as a scottish charity by volunteers that screen entertaining shorts films that are under 15 minutes over a weekend at the end of July each year and we also host a fun guerrilla style filmmaking afternoon.
We aim to screen the best shorts we receive either from our own backyard of the Highlands in Scotland to the other side of the world from budget to no budget.
ONLY GALICIAN SHORT FILMS
Short films only: under 30 minutes.
Submitted films must have been completed after 2017 and 2018 and they must also be Galician. This means they must have been either produced by companies or people from Galicia, directed by a Galician director.
Music videos must be Galician too. It means they must be either related to a song from a Galician musician or directed by a Galician author.

The 11th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival invites professional and amateur filmmakers to submit for consideration films ranging from 3 to 60 minutes. (as a one-night festival with limited airtime, the VAST majority of accepted submissions are between 3 and 20 minutes)

Stonefair International Film Festival is an online and live film festival, headquartered in Piatra-Neamt, Romania. Stonefair IFF is committed to supporting access to film in all of Piatra-Neamt community as well as supporting young film makers in their education.
The festival runs in 3 quarters, selections and screenings being made every 4 months, the third edition is due to take place on the 8th of May, 2017.
There will be 16 categories and Best Film will receive the Stonefair IFF Trophy, the winning films will be screened at the "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library.
