Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival is the first Uruguayan festival dedicated to promoting national and international film productions related to horror, fantasy and science fiction genres. Its objective is to annually present independent and ultra-independent creations that are often considered "minor", and that hardly access commercial and cultural circuits.
It has sections related to short and long feature films in competition, as well as exhibitions, tributes to different figures of the genre, lectures presented by specialists, and promotion of different cultural activities that occur in the country.
The Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival has been declared of Cultural Interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture, of Municipal Interest by the Intendance of Montevideo, and of Tourist Interest by the Ministry of Tourism in Uruguay.
It was screened in the Punta del Este International Film Festival, LatinUy Film Festival ("Cinema Fantasy" section, in La Barra), Piriápolis de Película International Film Festival ("FantaPiria" section), as well as in several foreign genre festivals like 'Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre' from Argentina; 'Brasilia International Fantastic Film Festival' from Brazil; 'FIXIÓN Fest' from Chile and 'Zinema Zombie Fest' from Colombia.

Florence Short Film Festival is an event dedicated to short films.
Born as a limelight for young independent directors, it quickly established itself as an international festival, counting among its guests and jurors great personalities from the world of academicism and film criticism, as well as renowned actors, dubbers and producers. Every year hundreds of directors from all over the world have submitted their works to be selected and run for the three categories of “Fiction”, “Animation” and “Documentary”, and thus compete for the Jury Prize (with cash prize) and for the Audience Award.
Throughout its eight editions, Florence Short Film Festival has received the patronage of the most important local institutions (the Municipality of the City of Florence and the Tuscany Region) and, more importantly, has been able to intercept a large transversal audience that has voted its loyalty to the festival every year: the audience of FSFF numbers hundreds of people and embraces both the university student who wants to live the cultural life of the city, and to the cinephile who wants to discover the directors of tomorrow, thanks to the varied proposal that the festival can offer.
Since the 8th edition Florence Short Film Festival is proud to offer masterclasses by guests of the caliber of Alessandro Roia, Giovanni Veronesi, Gianfranco Pannone and Alessandro Rak, demonstrating that teaching is a fundamental point for training the new directors of tomorrow and that the dissemination of cinematographic knowledge is at the basis of the intentions of the festival.
The 10th edition of the Florence Short Film Festival (6th, 7th, 8th February 2024 at the Cinema La Compagnia, Firenze) aims to bring the event to a further level by strengthening the internationality of the proposal, consolidating and expanding the public and involving famous personalities of Italian and international cinema.

After a great success of the first ever Film Festival in an ancient city of Alwar (Rajasthan, Western India)surrounded by the Aravalli range of mountains, we are proud to present the second edition. The first edition had participation from 70 countries with 470 films. The event was attended by delegates from North America, Europe, Middle East and India.
The theme of the festival is CULTURAL DISCOVERY.
Independent filmmakers and all film lovers are welcome to join us in 2 days of exciting events. In addition to live screening of your work, you will also get opportunities for networking, participation in the discussions/seminars and a co-creators' workshop on the sidelines of the main event. We offer celebrations for all who have a passion for film making and for film viewing. We value story/content over budget. Event Attractions:
1. Cinema of all genres, any length and budget are welcome from all over the world.
2. No restriction on the year of making. May be your unrecognized old work gets discovered here.
3. Music albums/videos/trailers are also acceptable.
4. Web series/TV Pilot can also be submitted.
5. Students are encouraged to participate and show their talent.
6. A separate category for mobile film/homemade/amateur productions.
7. A co-creators' workshop for the successful entries. You can get potential partners and financiers in this event.
8. Works in progress are accepted provided the completion takes place before the event.
9. World premieres of the films are a high priority.
10. Selection and screening of the films will be as follows:
a): Official Selection: First Selection list will be named as "Official Selection". These films will get a Certificate of Official Selection.
b): FINALISTS: Second Selection will be from the Official Selection list. The films selected from the first list will be named as "FINALISTS". These films will qualify for screening depending upon requisite technical requirements.
c): SCREENING: Some of the FINALISTS will be selected for Screening.
d): AWARD WINNERS: Award will be announced on the last day of screening in the Award Ceremony.
“Amor es Amor” invites filmmakers to participate with their short films in its 3° edition (online).

The 53rd edition of the Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival, one of the biggest film festivals for young filmmakers in Europe, will take place from 25th April to 28th April 2024 in Potsdam. Founded in the 1970s as a showcase for young filmmakers in the GDR, Sehsüchte has established itself over the decades as an internationally important festival and has become an integral part of the Berlin and Brandenburg cultural landscape.
Sehsüchte sees itself as a place of encounter and creativity, as an event of cultural diversity and a celebration of cinema, today as well as tomorrow. The festival is planned, organized and implemented entirely by students of the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. "NOS VEMOS EN 16:9 - BOGOTA HOMEMADE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL" is made to reactivate the audiovisual production in Bogotá city (Colombia) and with this new announcement, we are looking to encourage the creation of shortfilms made at home by professional artists and new creators, while setting colaborating networks and audiovisual academic encounters, so we all understand the artist's perspectic about the current pandemic, testing their recursiveness and show original and creative stories, while complying with all sanitary measurements stablised because of COVID-19.

TUC_11 will be held in a very important location for the Turin “Cinema” universe, which is located in the heart of the city, at the marvelous Cinema Baretti.
Cash prizes are awarded for the best feature film, best short film and best documentary. Also, special awards will be assigned to: best director, best actor, best actress, best cinematographer, best editor and best sound designer.
