In this festival, the finalist works will be screened online and it will be open to the public, who will have to vote through our website for their 3 favorite shorts/feature films from each section to award the public prizes.

III PampaDocFest – March 7 – 9, 2024
Produced by the Culture and Communication Area of the Municipality of Colonia Santa Teresa and the narrative journalism platform Angular; declared of Legislative Interest and declared of Cultural Interest by the government of the Province of La Pampa, the III International Documentary Film Festival "PampaDocFest" will take place in person in the town, from March 7th to 9th , 2024.
This festival aims to stimulate and facilitate the encounter between members of national and international cinematography and present non-fiction films, in addition to promoting meetings between filmmakers, technicians and those interested in this genre; and promote a training space to contribute to the development of the culture and dissemination of documentary filmmaking.

CARTON is an international animated film festival whose main objective is to bring together animators, directors, producers, cartoonists, cartoonists, and the entire community to see, enjoy and promote the world of animation as a means of communication and expression of ideas. artistic, technical and political.
The Festival consists of a competitive section of animated shorts. After a pre-selection carried out by the organizing committee, the material is evaluated by a prestigious jury that changes from year to year. Since its inception in 2011, Juan Pablo Zaramella, Tomas Welss, María Verónica Ramirez, Raúl Manrupe, Irene Blei, Salvador Sanz, and Ayar Blasco, among others, have passed through the Carton jury.
The competitive section is divided into the following categories: Fiction/Narrative, Experimental/Non-narrative, Video Clip, Series, Micro-shorts and Training Workshops.
In addition to the competition, the Carton Festival is completed with talks, videoconferences, workshops, feature film screenings and a comic book fair.
At the end of May of 2024, la Florida will host the 6th edition of FILMSERÈ - International Short Film Festival of La Florida. This project is perfect for the students of the subject of Cinema that is carried out in the Institut Eduard Fontserè high school, of the own neighborhood, with the guidance of two teachers linked to the world of cinema. It is an event organized by neighbors to neighbors, where the other residents of L'Hospitalet, Barcelona and elsewhere are also invited. It is an international festival, with big open-air screenings, where short films received from all over the world will participate, and which for the moment has received the support of the Pla Integral Les Planes-Blocs Florida of l'Hospitalet City Council.
Short films of all kinds will be screened, with a single requirement: that they be of the highest quality and with high doses of entertainment. Fiction, documentary, animation and experimental shorts and video clips are accepted. There are several prizes, some of them in cash, and among them a special award for the best short film on social issues.
Apart from an official jury formed by people related to the world of cinema and the arts, we will also have a jury of neighbors, a young jury, a grand jury, a jury of associations and social entities of the neighborhood and a student jury. Our ambition is not to create a small event, but a festival that has nothing to envy those of other parts of the territory. The festival has both open air and indoor screenings. Public attendance in 2021 was 400 spectators along six sessions, and 500 spectators in 2022 along 5 sessions.

Article 1. Objective.
- The main goals of CINHOMO include the dissemination and promotion of films that support sexual diversity and gender identity through works of artistic and social relevance. Our purpose is to provide a venue for showing these films, which have difficulty accessing conventional channels for film exhibitions. In many cases, they have received favourable reviews or have received awards at prestigious international film festivals.
- We also aim to feature the work of social or cultural groups from countries where there is no access or limited access to film distribution despite being of great interest.
- Our film festival intends to provide referents for people whose sexual orientation or gender identity is non-heteronormative, promoting greater visibility, normalisation and full integration in a society based on respect.
- Furthermore, through our documentary film section, we aim to create awareness about the situation of LGBTI people around the world, contributing to further progress of human rights
The Festival de Cinema de Terror de Sabadell, celebrates the Fifth Edition of our Fiction Short Film Competition.
They have space for all the short films of Terror, Gore, Thriller, Fantastic, Science-Fiction, Dark Humor or Freak, in all their meanings and variants.
Mostra Dr. Mabuse is an international short film festival taking place in Barcelona for three days. It is conceived as a festival open to new artists as well as experienced. A jury consisting of professionals in the audiovisual world, teachers and students of film festivals and other collaborators carry out the selection of films to be screened in the three sessions that are scheduled during the month of June in Barcelona. The project was initiated twenty years ago and has been growing and multiplying the number of films screened and registered, having received works of relevant directors such as JA Bayona, Nacho Vigalondo, Mateo Gil or Kike Maillo. Instead of just being an audiovisual festival, Dr. Mabuse is intended to be an homogeneous and free event, in which everyone can have a good time enjoying theater and cinema.
The SITGES - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia is a specialized, competitive fantastic genre Festival in accordance with the regulations established by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations). The Festival has also been declared a “Qualified Festival” by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® in the United States. This means that those shorts winning the awards for “Best Short Film” in the Official Fantàstic Selection and “Best Short Film” in the Anima’t category will automatically be taken into consideration by the Hollywood Academy Awards® selection committee.
The Just A Minute Festival is an online viewers choice event that encourages people to make short films, one minute or less, using any device or media of any genre or subject matter.
There are cash prizes and there is no entry fee.
There will be a premier event at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA and screenings at various locations.

1. Brain Film Fest
The Brain Film Fest (BFF) is an international film festival dedicated to highlighting and promoting the creation and dissemination of feature films and short films about any aspect of the brain, from its amazing abilities and conditions to its pathologies. The BFF is jointly organized by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and Minimal Films. In addition to being a film competition, the BFF will also organize throughout the festival other in-person and online social, cultural and/or scientific events that focus on the brain.
The 8th edition of the Brain Film Fest will be held from March 12 to 16, 2025.

We understand ethnographic cinema in a broad sense; it refers to those productions
whose main aim is to show different aspects related to sociocultural realities as well as
a community’s way of life. It comprises films with the main focus on people, social
groups and relevant historical processes that are related to anthropology and
ethnography.
We are a monthly short film festival which takes place one Monday per month at the Cinéma les 5 Caumartin in PARIS. We award ONE PUBLIC AWARD per edition. This prize gives access the following year to the GRAND FESTIVAL where the best film prize, jury prize and super audience prize will be awarded in front of a jury of professionals.
