The SITGES - International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia is a specialized, competitive fantastic genre Festival in accordance with the regulations established by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations). The Festival has also been declared a “Qualified Festival” by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® in the United States. This means that those shorts winning the awards for “Best Short Film” in the Official Fantàstic Selection and “Best Short Film” in the Anima’t category will automatically be taken into consideration by the Hollywood Academy Awards® selection committee.
The F.I.C.Y (International Film Festival of Yopal) is an event that will take place from October 13th to 16th, 2023 in the city of Yopal, located in the department of Casanare, Colombia. Solo disposiciones de ley -en el desafortunado caso de que una eventual nueva ola pandémica determine un cierre de las salas de cine en Italia en las fechas del Festival- obligarán a la Dirección del Festival a desplazar la parte presencial inevitablemente online. Si llegara a producirse tal escenario, a las obras que solo habían optado a la participación a la parte presencial del Festival se les enviará un módulo
para señalar con qué geolocalización autorizan la participación online: solo Italia
(autorización mínima obligatoria) / Italia + Europa / Italia + Europa + Tres Américas.

Films must be produced in HD format and preferably recorded on DVD video. Other media will not be accepted. DVDs submitted for pre-selection will be the same to be used if the film is selected. Films must be completed, not being accepted unfinished films or temporary copies even after the registration period.
On the registration form participants authorize the producer of the festival to display the selected movie in full during the festival on schedule to be released, and also authorize for clips up to 1 minute of film in news programs on televisions or Brazilian FTA cable and available on the INTERNET strictly informative websites in order to publicize the event.

The Fantàsia Festival is an international cultural event inspired by the work of Michael Ende. The II edition of the event will take place from August 25 to 26 and 27 in Genzano Di Roma, the hometown of Micheal Ende for more than fifteen years, and the location of his most well-known works, Momo and The Unknown Journey.
This year a new section, FANTÀSIA SHORTS, has been added to the rich programme of the three-day event. It is aimed at established filmmakers or film school students from all over the world who have found inspiration in the literary genre of Fantasy. The festival aims to encourage young artists to get involved in this fascinating film genre.
This year, Fantàsia Shorts will take place at the 18th century romantic Sforza Cesarini park, in the ancient city of Genzano. The perfect place to combine the valorisation of the territory's artistic and historical heritage with the world of fantasy.
