Our festival is a Quarterly Film Screening & Award Event that provides a platform for both women and men to showcase their talents and share their unique stories with a global audience.
The Women's Bioscope is more than just a film festival, it's a movement to amplify the voices of women in the film industry. We believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, educate, and create positive change. By providing a space for filmmakers of all genders, we aim to foster collaboration and diversity within the industry.
Submission Guidelines: We welcome submissions from filmmakers around the world who are passionate about telling compelling stories. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a first-time filmmaker, we encourage you to submit your work for consideration. The Women's Bioscope accepts films in all genres, including narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental.
For male participants, we celebrate your commitment to inclusivity. Films featuring women in any role—be it director, producer, writer, cinematographer, or actor—are eligible for submission. We believe that diversity in storytelling leads to richer, more nuanced narratives that resonate with audiences of all backgrounds.

The SETTIMO SENSO International Film Festival, now in its fifth edition, invites professional directors, schools of all levels, and emerging creatives to participate in this esteemed international short film competition. The festival celebrates diversity and promotes a message of equality through the narrative and visual power of short films.
Themes:
1. UTOPIA/DYSTOPIA: exploration of ideal or catastrophic visions of the future, offering reflective insights on society challenges and hopes.
2. POSTHUMAN: investigation into the transformations of the human being, exploring the boundaries between nature and technology and possible evolutions of the species.
3. ONIRIC: exploration of dreamlike and surreal worlds, encouraging directors to bring narratives and visions beyond conventional frameworks.
4. WALLS THAT DIVIDE THE WORLD: reflection on the reality of physical and symbolic boundaries, exploring how such walls influence human and social relationships.
5. BETWEEN HISTORY AND IMAGINARY: interweaving of narratives combining historical elements with imaginative dimensions, offering a unique perspective on the interpretation of history.
6. DIVERSITY IS EQUALITY: theme celebrating the richness of human differences, promoting a message of equality through the narrative and visual power of short films—an experience challenging prejudices and embracing diversity in all its forms.
7. FOOD AND WINE: exploration of human relationships through food and wine, reflecting on gastronomic culture and its impact on our lives.
8. HEALTHY MIND IN A HEALTHY BODY: exploration of the connection between mind and body, focusing on stories revealing the link between physical and mental well-being.
9. CITIZENS OF EUROPE AND THE WORLD: narration of stories about individuals overcoming cultural and geographical barriers, promoting a sense of global citizenship and interconnection.
10. THE SENSE OF WONDER: invitation to directors to capture the essence of wonder, inspiring audiences through stories celebrating the beauty and surprise of life.
The International Film and Human Rights Festival - HUMANS FEST, developed in Valencia since 2008, is one of the main activities promoted by the Fundación por la Justicia that aims to bring audiovisual culture closer to both the general public and especially vulnerable audiences, as well as such as the defense of human rights and the denunciation of their violations throughout the world and at the same time carrying out a series of activities with a social content.
The Festival reaches its XV edition to be held in June 2024.

CFF is the first outdoors film festival of its kind in Lebanon. The festival, which was launched in 2009 by “Laboratoire D’art”, has become an annual short film event which celebrates and promotes local and international short films as an independent form of art in a non-competitive public event, away from competition, prizes and entrance fees.
Cabane A Sang (Blood Shed) is a Film Festival, TV Show on a French Horror station in Canada & a Road Cinema based out of Montreal. C.a.S celebrates Horror, Scifi and Trash cinema. "Blood Shed" aims to bring back the vibes of grindhouse cinemas where you can catch an obscure flick, have a beer, laugh and have a good time.

The C.a.S. Philosophy is simple. ENTERTAINMENT above all else. It is not solely about how good a film looks but about the journey. The greasier/juicier the journey, the better! Opavský páv is an International Student Film Festival in Opava.
Opavský páv is a project of Institute of Movie, Television and Broadcast Creation at the Faculty of Philosophy and Science in Opava.

The International Auto Film Festa Committee will hold the "International Auto Film Festa," a car film festival from Japan, in 2024 and will start accepting submissions from 1 January 2024.

Dundead is based at Dundee Contemporary Arts in Dundee, Scotland and has been running since 2011, screening the best in new horror and genre films, as well as cult classics. Traditionally, the festival runs at the end of April/start of May.
The CONIL DE CINE International Short Film Festival, organized by Niñas Films with the support and financing of the City Council and the Tourist Board of Conil de la Frontera, was created with the purpose of disseminating and promoting cinematographic culture, as well as supporting emerging filmmakers through the creation of a reference space, where their work can be made known, collaboration and connection between industry professionals is encouraged.
The Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" is being held annually on the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region and is the professional competitive screening of cinematic works from around the world. The dates of the festival are agreed annually.
The 9th Arctic International Film Festival "Golden Raven" will take place from April 07 to April 20,2025.
The festival sets its goals and objectives as following:
• search and promotion of the best modern films related to the Arctic and reflecting various aspects of life in this region;
• attracting the attention of the public and professional community to the topics relevant to the Arctic including ecology, interethnic relations, the continuity of generations, the preservation of traditions and culture, etc.;
• creation of a communication channel and strengthening of cooperation between Russia and the world community through the territories and cultural space of the Far North of the Russian Federation;
• popularization of event and ecological tourism on the territory of the Chukotka Autonomous Region;
• creation and development of a comfortable environment for residents of the Chukotka Autonomous Region;
• development of the film production infrastructure, as well as promotion of the Chukotka Autonomous Region as an attractive and comfortable location for filmmaking;
• search and support of young talented filmmakers creating films in the Arctic region;
• preservation and popularization of the cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East.
The Festival is being held by the Youth Initiative Production Center, by the Committee for Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, by the Center of Development and Support of Cultural Projects "Golden Raven" and is supported by Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Region, the Russian Filmmakers’ Union, AU CHAO Okrkinovideoprokat.
The Festival is composed of the following competition sections:
• international competitive selection of full-length feature and documentary films;
• international competitive selection of short feature films;
• international competitive selection of short documentary films;
• international competitive selection of short animation films;
• regional competitive selection "FilmRising!".
Out-of-competition program of the Festival includes:
• full-length and short films;
• animated films;
• other media content at the discretion of the Organizing Committee of the Festival.
The Festival "Golden Raven" is distinguished by the fact that the winners in the main category (The Grand Prix) are chosen not by a jury of experts, but by the viewers, who take part in preferential voting.
The Festival's expert jury includes professional filmmakers from Russia and abroad, and it chooses the winners in the other categories.
Submissions to the Festival will be accepted to December 20, 2024.
Russian submissions are entered online at the Festival’s official web site http://goldenravenfilmfest.ru/ and it is obligatory to send all the materials to section https://goldenravenfilmfest.ru/zayavka.
Foreign submissions are entered for Selection committee via one of online-platforms including Festhome (https://festhome.com/festival/the-golden-raven-international-arctic-film-festival).
The submission to the competitive sections is free.
The Selection Committee of the Festival will make its final decisions no later than on March 15, 2025.

DOCUMED - MEDITERRANEAN DOCUMENTARY CINEMA FESTIVAL
IN TUNISIA
7th Edition - 2024
DocuMed – Mediterranean Documentary Cinema Festival in Tunisia, organized annually by the Tunisian Documentary Cinema Association, offers screenings of creative documentaries from countries around the Mediterranean. It aims to promote the influence and dissemination of documentary films in Tunisia and to promote exchanges between professionals, creators and the public in a spirit of openness to anthropological, cultural and social diversity.
DocuMed:
- Carries humanist values, based on openness to other cultures, freedom of creation and sharing.
- Demonstrates its belonging to the world, its openness to its Maghreb, Arab and Mediterranean geographical and cultural context.
- Allows documentary cinema, as a form of questioning the world, humans and art, to participate in debates on ideas, knowledge, representations and imaginations.
- Encourages the public for the documentary film genre and allows as many people as possible to access theoretical and practical knowledge of documentary creation.
- Promotes exchange, helps to think and gives food for thought by providing access to representations of Tunisian realities and the world.
The International Choreographic Festival of Blois will take place in Blois, France, from July 3rd to 12h, 2025.
The Festival aims to bring the art of dance to the Loire Valley Region in France and to democratize this art form by offering performances, dance short-film screenings, master classes, performance workshops and community outreach events.
There will be 2 film screenings of about an hour each in a movie theatre right in the center of the city of Blois.They will respectively take place on July 3rd to 12h, 2025.
It is a unique festival that aims to feature choreography for the camera, dance documentaries and any short-film that emphasizes movement.
We encourage every dance and/or movement related short-film to apply.
The International Film and Multimedia Festival is an audiovisual Festival that aims to promote cinema within the country and abroad. The festival will take place in the month of March with competition for short films both fiction, experimental, documentary. and an International Media Art Exhibition. There will also be talks and meetings with filmmakers.

We want to offer a transversal vision of eroticism. At the same time we ask ourselves about the meaning of the word within a diverse society.
An exploration of sexuality from a social point of view and without gender barriers.
The festival discuss about politics, education and society, taking as starting point sexuality.

ShorTS International Film Festival (ShorTS IFF) is organised by the Maremetraggio Association.
Since 2000, ShorTS IFF has been a landmark for short films and up and coming cinematographers at international level. In every edition, ShorTS IFF aims to make the short film genre known to a broad and heterogeneous audience, with particular attention to the young with specific sections for children and teenagers aged 6 to 15.
