O Festival de Cinema “Seize the Film “é focado em projeções de filmes relacionados ao tema da deficiência/pelo menos um ator é pessoa com deficiência e tem edições em Novi Sad (Sérvia), Rijeka (Croácia) e Kotor (Montenegro).
Além da exibição de filmes sobre deficiência, o Festival também tem programas de acompanhamento e pós-produção - Film Caravan, que inclui exibições em espaços culturais, escolas, outros festivais e “Seize the film Kids” - exibições de filmes adequados para crianças de 7 a 12 anos (na Sérvia).
O Festival Internacional de Cinema Eko (EKOIFF) anual é um festival internacional de cinema na megacidade costeira de Lagos, no sudoeste da Nigéria.
Foi fundada e estabelecida por Hope Obioma Opara em 2009 e Hope Obioma Opara também é CEO da Supple Communications Limited, sob a qual o festival é Holden. Ele também é editor da revista Supple, uma revista sobre festivais de cinema e cultura na África que exibe prévias e resenhas de filmes e entrevistas em www.supplemagazine.org.
A missão do Festival Internacional de Cinema de Eko é promover a valorização das artes e da cultura por meio das artes e ciências cinematográficas e aumentar o turismo na Nigéria.

Com o passar dos anos, o festival se tornou uma celebração da animação para crianças e adultos. Os eventos são realizados em todos os centros regionais da Bielorrússia.

The Baghdad International Film Festival (BIFF) tends to support a new cinema in Iraq - a cinema for multiculturalism with a focus on the values of freedom, democracy, human rights and justice
The cinema for multiculturalism offers more than a simple presentation of the works. BIFF works as a platform with an intercultural forum bringing together young practitioners and professionals from different countries, cultures and ethnics. Films of all genre, lengths and formats will be shown in the 6 competitions: Long Fiction | Short Drama | Documentaries | Arab Woman Filmmakers | Human rights Images and New Horizons. The section New Horizons is dedicated to Iraqi filmmakers. All other sections are open for all participants. The festival’s 1st edition was in December 2005 and it organized by ( Iraqi association for culture & cinema development ) , an independent NGO registered officially in Iraq and works under the Iraqi law.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;

A primeira edição da Mostra Outros Cinemas ocorreu em 2008 com realização da Sereia Filmes, tendo como proposta abrir um novo espaço para difusão da produção audiovisual brasileira.
Nesses cinco anos de atividades, a Mostra exibiu mais de 100 filmes, possibilitando a jovens realizadores uma ampliação do acesso às suas produções e colaborando para a divulgação e valorização do mercado audiovisual brasileiro.
Mesmo com o considerável aumento na produção de filmes, canais de difusão para obras de curtas-metragens ainda são escassos, restringindo-se muitas vezes às exibições em festivais de caráter competitivo.
Assim, cada plataforma, veiculo ou iniciativa que possibilite a difusão desses filmes é fundamental para a valorização e ampliação deste setor. A Mostra, que não tem caráter competitivo, chega este ano a sua sexta edição e irá contar com uma programação de 6 dias, com a exibição de curtas selecionados sob a curadoria de Bárbara Cariry.
O nome “Outros Cinemas” expressa bem seu conceito, pois a sua principal proposta é a exibição de filmes contemporâneos realizados por universitários e jovens de todo o país, sem esquecer a interlocução com outras gerações.

PRÊMIO DE MEIO AMBIENTE DO CARTOON CLUB: entre os filmes selecionados para as seções 'Cartoon Club Award' e 'Signor Rossi Award', a direção artística do Festival selecionará, a seu critério, o título que melhor representa os tópicos de proteção ambiental.
PANORAMA INTERNACIONAL: uma seção não competitiva aberta a curtas-metragens de animação europeus e não europeus.
