The Caracas Ibero-American Film Festival was born with a clear intention of serving as dissemination and recognition for any type of cinematic expression of Ibero-American directors or productions of first and second works, fiction and documentaries, feature films and short films, student and professional productions. All can be postulated at the festival that, beyond its competitive character, for the selection of the independent pieces of the current film scene.
The first initiative to create a Caracas Film Festival arose with its founding in 2003; however, it was suspended after five editions and has now been refounded again.
The Caracas Ibero-American Film Festival is part of the National System of Film Festivals and Samples in Venezuela (SNFMCV), independent association created under the authorization of the National Autonomous Film Center (CNAC). The Festival is an IMDB qualifying.
The Festival was refounded at the initiative of the writer and filmmaker Francisco Villarroel to promote independent cinema in the Ibero-American region, mainly from new filmmakers.

The 14th edition of Arraial Cine Fest will take place online from December 1st to 30th, 2023, and from December 1st to 25th, registered and qualified tourism videos will be shown, and from December 26th to 30th, the films selected by the Curatorship of the Festival. A chess-themed short film festival.
Simultaneously with an international chess tournament, the festival will take place in Amelia in Umbria. A quality jury will select 5 short films which will then be voted by the popular jury on July 21 and 22 in Amelia. The short films will have a maximum length of 20 minutes and will be sent by July 1, 2023.
Cine V invites national and international filmmakers to participate in its First Edition to be held in the month of April 2022, in the City of Córdoba, Argentina.

NYBA DANCE FILM FEST (NEW YORK BUENOS AIRES DANCE FILM FEST) is an international dance film festival held in the cities of New York and Buenos Aires.
The festival seeks to highlight and promote the audiovisual works of dance and movement created by artists from all over the world. It’s a celebration of the new forms of expression that arise from the fusion between audiovisual language, new technologies and dance. *** HOW TO PARTICIPATE***
We accept all kinds of films of up to 20 minutes in which dance and movement are the protagonists: video-dance, video art, experimental, short film or documentary. We accept entries exclusively via Festhome. Please check out our rules & terms before submitting.
***SELECTION***
The selection is carried out by a team of professionals related to video, cinema, dance and culture through a rating process.
All creators whose films are selected for screening will be notified by email and provided with specific details about the live event. We will request specific assets (biographies, stills, posters) prior to the screening.
