Taratsa is an independent international short film festival based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It began in August 2014, integrated in the framework of “Thessaloniki European Youth Capital”. Ulsan Ulju Mountain Film Festival(UMFF) is the first international mountain film festival in South Korea, dedicated to presenting and promoting films & culture dealing with mountains, adventure, exploration, nature, and the environment. WHY THIS AWARD PRIZE NACIONAL DE CORTOMETRAJES "JAIME OSORIO GÓMEZ"
Community of Viterbo Caldas, has not been sufficiently fair or not had taken seriously the importance that has for a municipality that one of their children has such an impact in a trade, or art, and even more so at levels that managed it to do the Mr JAIME OSORIO GÓMEZ, who was born in ViterboCaldas, on March 7, 1947 and studied law at the Autonomous University of Colombia.
In the 1970 began to conduct business and to court political documentaries, such as Chile does not surrender, hell. He was a professor at the National University of Colombia and the school of cinema and Television of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba, in addition to representing the Colombian producers in the Board of Directors of Proimágenes in motion. He directed the medium-length films all rights reserved, ceremony of the Benkuna and life or death, where are already insinuating clearly the characters of confession to Laura. In the 1980 was the producer of tropical snow, the Emberá and my Macondo and was Assistant Director and production of two films by Lisandro Duque: Visa USA and miracle in Rome. At the time of his death he was working on multiple film projects in various stages of production, such as Satan, directed by Andi Baiz; Child's play, directed by Carlos César Arbelaez; The taxidermist, directed by Luis Alberto Restrepo; the project colors of the mountain, also of Carlos César Arbelaez, and the feature film time of the Lions, written by himself and Jaime Escallón Buraglia. "Those who had the pleasure to shake his hand, understand the size of the huge loss that took the Colombian cinema with his departure" one of the people who have contributed most to our film to reach the upper echelons; for all the above we got in the task of creating the "Prix national of short films JAIME OSORIO GÓMEZ".
