The Bluestocking Film Series is an exclusive showcase for Bechdel-Test, high-quality, provocative short fiction films featuring complex female protagonists driving the story and leading the action. This innovative screening series originates in the beautiful, culturally vibrant city of Portland, Maine and travels to other film-loving cities around the country and the world.
The only film event in the world to require female protagonists, submissions must also pass the Bechdel Test. We celebrate and promote talented, established and emerging filmmakers who take the creative risk of placing female protagonists front and center. We introduce audiences to those who are contributing to the art and craft of cinema and who have the potential to influence the future of filmed entertainment.
We encourage and promote production of narratives that reflect the diverse experiences of women. We have a marked preference for well-structured, highly visual, cutting edge, provocative films, especially ones that explore the plurality and variety of women’s relationships.
To be considered, your submission must feature a female protagonist and pass The Bechdel Test (film must feature at least 2 female characters who talk to each other about something other than a man). To find out more about the test, please Google it.
At this time, we invite submissions of short NARRATIVE FICTION films ONLY. Feature length films will not be considered. Straightforward documentaries will not be considered.
Our mission is to present films that place women and girl characters front and center, driving the story and leading the action, films that portray these characters as strong, capable, flawed, and complex as their male counterparts.

Welcome to the 11th Annual World Music and Independent Film Festival (WMIFF) 2019. WMIFF was established to celebrate and provide a platform of achievements for international cinema artists. Dedicated to building a global film community and supporting emerging filmmakers, WMIFF offers all selected artists exceptional exposure with an inclusive vibe that has won over alumni, attendees, and industry members alike. WMIFF festivities are open to all, featuring some of the most talented artists in both film and music.
Das Internationale Tier- und Umweltfilmfestival von Mexiko-Stadt (FICAA) heißt Sie zu seiner 7. Ausgabe willkommen, bei der wir wie jedes Jahr Filme aus allen fünf Kontinenten aufnehmen.
Die Mission des Festivals ist es, Werte, Anliegen und aktivistische Kämpfe durch Kunst zu fördern und so vielfältige Möglichkeiten zu eröffnen, die Arbeit herausragender Filmemacher zu präsentieren. Das ganze Jahr über veranstalten wir in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), der UAM, der ENAC-UNAM und staatlichen Kulturräumen, die ihre Türen öffnen, um diese Verbreitung zu unterstützen, verschiedene kulturelle Veranstaltungen und Filmdiskussionen.
Die Gewinnerfilme, die die Teilnahmebedingungen akzeptieren, werden einen Monat lang auf der Plattform „Nuestro Cine MX“ von IMCINE präsentiert und sorgen so für landesweite Bekanntheit in ganz Mexiko.

Als Festival, das auf Tier- und Umweltbewusstsein ausgerichtet ist und der diesjährige Anlass „Cinema: Freedom of Belief, Extraterrestrials, and Conspiracy Theories“ ist, erhalten alle eingereichten Projekte einen Participation Laurel, in dem der künstlerische Wert und die Arbeit jedes Films gewürdigt werden, auch wenn sie nicht für das endgültige Vorführprogramm ausgewählt wurden. Filme der offiziellen Auswahl werden mit einem Laurel der offiziellen Auswahl ausgezeichnet.
Die endgültigen Gewinner erhalten die FICAA-Statuette 2026 sowie digitale Lorbeeren und ein digitales Diplom.
Die letzte Preisverleihung findet im Dezember statt. Gäste aus verschiedenen Ländern und Regionen Mexikos werden ihre Statuetten persönlich entgegennehmen.

Das Bašta Fest ist ein internationales Kurzspielfilmfestival, das in Bajina Bašta, Westserbien, stattfindet. Es ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung, die am ersten Juliwochenende stattfindet und vier Tage dauert. Aufgrund des Berufs der Gründer (Schauspieler Jovan Jelisavčić und Maja Šuša) ist der Hauptinteresse des Festivals eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Regisseuren und Schauspielern. Wir glauben, dass die Fokussierung auf die Qualität dieser gemeinsamen künstlerischen Anstrengungen einen positiven Einfluss auf die Positionierung des Bašta Fest unter den Kurzfilmfestivals haben wird. Das Bašta Fest ist von großer Bedeutung für die Dezentralisierung der Kultur, da es vielfältige Film-, Musik- und Off-Programme in diese wunderschöne Region gebracht hat. Eine der Prioritäten des Festivals ist es, eine große Anzahl von Besuchern die unglaubliche natürliche Schönheit zu fördern. Unser Hauptziel ist es jedoch, dieses Festival in eine aufregende kulturelle Oase umzuwandeln, die lokale und internationale junge Künstler unterstützt und den Schwerpunkt auf Kurzspielfilme mit Authentizität legt. Die Hauptauswahl ist ein Kurzfilmprogramm des Wettbewerbs, während zwei Filme als Teil eines Nicht-Wettbewerbs, eines Sonderprogramms jedes Jahr gezeigt werden - einer während der Eröffnung und einer während der Abschlussfeier. Der letzte, der gezeigt wird, ist ein serbischer Debüt-Spielfilm, der vom Bašta-Festteam als erfolgreichster im Vorjahr gewählt wurde. Der Eintritt zu allen Vorführungen in Bašta ist kostenlos, während sie immer unter offenem Nachthimmel stattfinden. Derzeit gibt es zwei offizielle Festivalplätze: den Borići-Park und den Perućac-See.

VIVA FESTIVAL is a permanent event in the field of culture and art, the founder and organizer is the VIVA Association from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time domestic and international competitive film festival artistic achievements in the field of documentary film and video (electronic).The festival is held in Sarajevo, once a year, takes a maximum of four days.
The Festival reserves the rights of final decision on the program in which the film will be shown.
Movies can be short and medium length feature.
Competition has four categories:
1. Religion (its themed films that promote the specifics of religion, in order to rapprochement, understanding and inter-religious tolerance);
2. Ecology (films that its theme promote the natural heritage of their countries in order to encourage the development of environmental awareness);
3. Tourism (films that its theme promote the tourism potential of country of origin).

Due to some unavoidable circumstances our 1st International Wildlife Animal & Environment Film festival of Odisha 2016 postponed to 14th November 2016 so the date of opening and closing of film submission will be as per notice given.
The 1st International Wildlife Animal & Environment Film festival of Odisha & 3rd International Children Film Festival 2016 will be staged on 14th November 2016 at Balangir. On the day films of various languages will be shown. On the day of the programme a seminar & Photography will be conducted. At many children or general public will be invited to the programme. A souvenir will be published containing messages of eminent personalities and articles.

THE LOCATION OF THE FESTIVAL
Sestriere is a 2035 meters high town in Piemonte, just a few kilometers far from the frontier with France.
It’s an important destination for international tourism, because of its mountains and its territory: it offers long ski slopes, an indoor swimming pool, a golf field and the possibility to practise sportfishing, trekking, climbing, mountain bike or simply relaxing in the sun. Both in winter and in summer, Sestriere hosts many different events, mainly dedicated to sport, culture, music and motors.
THE CONCEPT OF THE FESTIVAL
“Sestriere film Festival - from the olympic mountain... a view on the world" is an international film festival organized by the Association Montagna Italia. the festival, entirely dedicated to the cinema and the culture of the mountain, is open to all movies, documentaries, Animation movies, short and full lenght movies dedicated to the "Highlands of the world". The themes are: mountain, alpinism, exploration and hiking.
PARTNERS & COLLABORATIONS
To support this project properly, we will ask for the collaboration of all the organizations that work to promote and foster the development of mountain tourism. So we would like to involve the local insti- tutions like the Region Piemonte, the Province of Torino, the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, the Minister of Environment and Toruism and some pri- vate corporations.
CULTURAL TOURISM THROUGH THE FESTIVAL
The aim of the ‘‘Sestriere Film Festival” is to promo- te Sestriere, Torino and Piemonte from the touristic and cultural point of view, attracting not only sport lovers, but also people who are interested in cinema, and to show the mountain world with its traditions and history. This new event will enrich the cultural and touristic offer of Sestriere and will add a new attracting image of the Piemonte area to the imagery of all mountain lovers.

Started in Bologna in 2011, Boff is situated in a beautiful park in the center of Bologna and it open for all who would like to take part.
This year’s programme aims not only to give visibility to films from the national and international film circuit, but also tries to speak to a world of people who are usually cut off from cinema. With the introduction of sound, the deaf left the cinema. With Boff we hope they’ll come back. the program will be vast and full of themes of cinematic language: visual perception, rather than sound – where the only music is in the form of bodily vibrations.
