If you are a fiercely independent filmmaker producing small budget films or a screenwriter that can craft a script that can be shot on a small (less than a million dollar) budget, this festival is for you.
We are a festival run by Filmmakers, Professors of Film and Film Fans for Filmmakers, Film Students and Film Fans at all levels of expertise. This is a festival where recognition is generous and you are the Star no matter what role you played or how many roles you assumed, everyone is treated like a Rock Star. We roll out the red carpet for your premiere, allow time for Q & A following the screening, or the block of films if you are in the shorts category. We hold live readings of your screenplay with professional actors with you directing.
If you have special skills, you may be invited to moderate a panel or participate as a panelist. Festival Alumni also serve as Awards Presenters during the Bonehead Awards Gala.
KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.
KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.
But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.
We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.

ピエラゴス市議会は、国内外の才能を紹介する第16回映画祭を開催します。
カンタブリア、スペイン、インターナショナル、ユネスコ・コスタ・ケブラーダ・ジオパークのコンペティション部門が参加するこのイベントでは、短編映画（フィクション、最長30分）の最優秀作品が贈られます。
選ばれた映画は、カンタブリア最優秀短編映画、国内短編映画、国際短編映画賞などの賞のほか、技術的表彰や、この自然遺産に関連する作品を表彰する名誉あるジオパーク賞を競います。
応募作品は2025年12月20日までFesthome経由で受け付けています。
2026年のクロージングガラでは、上映会、専門家によるミーティング、候補者の宿泊などが行われます。

About WDIFF – The Annual Women's Director International Film Festival (WDIFF) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to women's. WDIFF films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of film. Mission & Objective - The mission of the Women's Director International Film Festival (WDIFF) is to empower women's artistic vision internationally. With women representing only 7% of filmmakers, we would like to increase the number of women in the industry and support those women who are actively involved by assisting filmmakers and artists with the development of their craft.
The 2016 edition will offer many different sections, including a feature‐film competition, a retrospective exhibition, many premieres and tributes to great directors of the past, a documentary section, recently produced films and rediscovered classics, art exhibitions and installations, special screening sessions for schools, animation films, workshops, lectures, Q&As with the authors... and much more.
