El Festival nace con una misión muy concreta:
pretende estimular la atención del público hacia un espacio representativo abierto y amplio, como es el entorno rural, hace de sus proyecciones al aire libre, abiertas para todos, el mejor exponente. Jóvenes y adultos, generaciones separadas por años y vivencias, se reúnen en torno a una pantalla, que es el foco de la luz de un pasado y de un futuro: la cultura es atemporal, la cultura une, y el lenguaje cinematográfico será el nexo común que temple emociones y sentimientos, que atesore recuerdos, que provoque animadas tertulias.
De esta manera todos los asistentes al evento pueden disfrutar de un discurso heterogéneo y dinámico. A través de este impulso cultural, las diferentes corrientes de creatividad permiten a los espectadores moverse y explorar códigos nuevos y viejos en un espacio público, creando comunidad.
El Festival de Cine de Arte de Brooklyn es un evento único que reúne a los famosos productores de cine y medios de comunicación de Brooklyn con sus compañeros de todo el país y de todo el mundo. El galardonado AOBFF es un evento, plataforma y escaparate centrado en cineastas para creadores emergentes y voces establecidas. Nos asociamos con distribuidores de películas y organizaciones de medios, organizamos talkbacks de clase mundial, creamos una programación innovadora para crear redes y desarrollar habilidades, y proyectamos en teatros de última generación para audiencias entusiastas de todo Brooklyn.
Fundada por artistas en 2011, diez estrenos de festivales han conseguido distribución teatral hasta la fecha, y uno se convirtió en una serie HBO. Hemos celebrado eventos en diecinueve lugares diferentes en nueve vecindarios de Brooklyn (hasta ahora) a menudo asociándonos con empresas y organizaciones locales para llegar al público más amplio posible.

The 1st Festival «Film & Photo by Drone» (DFPF) organised by ASBL Cercle d’Arts et Un Talent Se Dévoile will take place at the airfield of Saint-Hubert from 3rd to 5th June 2016.
Un Talent Se Dévoile is a new not-for-profit organisation that aims to promote young artists, and the Cercle d’Arts is a cultural association, benefitting from financial support and recognition from many public and private, Belgian and foreign, institutions.
The competition is offers 5,000 euros worth of cash and other prizes offered by our partners.
1. The objectives of DFPF:
To promote the production of images taken by drone encouraged through a competition
To promote works that combine technical and aesthetic innovation in the field of cinema and general picture creation
To bring together professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers passionate about aerial images
To foster the relationship between all involved in the drone photography and cinema world, whether directors or producers, and public authorities
To highlight the potential of drones and the various possible areas for shooting
To educate the general public about the use of drones in different sectors of image production by promoting a selection of films and movies.
2. Target audience:
All filmmakers and producers whether they are amateurs or professionals.
3. FILM CATEGORIES: 6 categories short movies
1 - Fiction
2 - Nature - Documentary
3 - Sport - Extreme Sport
4 - Tourism - Travel
5 - Architecture
6 - Clip-Institutional Advertising
The films submitted must have at least 10% of their images produced by drone and these images need to have been shot in compliance with the legislation in force on the location(s) of the shooting(s). The image shooting locations, the dates and equipment used will need to be disclosed on a compulsory basis.
Amateur or professional candidates may submit one film per category.
The jury reserves the right to reclassify the choice of the category.
The films will be evaluated according to the following criteria: quality of the images, quality of the photography, quality of the realisation, quality of the direction.
The movies that will not be part of the official selection will have the opportunity to be presented out of competition.

XII EDITION: Recognizing our shadow
Our shade can be a real problem.
It is that side of our humanity, which we prefer to keep hidden, and which makes us act questionably.
This shadow, is in part, what has led us to cause a terrible impact on the environment.
Deforestation, oil spills, pollution of soils and seas, annihilation of species, violation of indigenous rights and assassinations of environmental defenders.
This shadow, individual and collective, is projected from the big cities over our ecosystems and under the protection of state legality and private investments in favor of “progress and industrialization”.
In times where the imbalance we have caused in the environment, comes back at us like climate disasters and nature embezzles, it behooves us to dare to look back at this shadow.
We have a responsibility to understand its impact, point out those projecting it and demand regulations to defend those it affects.
They say that the first step to solving a problem is to identify it and today, through cinema, we seek to acknowledge our actions, to stop the advance of their consequences on our unique natural environment.

Castellaneta Film Fest is an International short film and music videos festival, held in a beautiful town in Puglia, Italy. We are involved in cinema, art exhibitions, music videos and live music performances. We are looking for original stories and all filmmakers from all over the world are more than welcome!
Tlanchana Fest, Festival de Cine y Arte Digital es realizado por Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual A.C., con el fin de crear un espacio de exhibición para los talentos emergentes de México y el mundo, mediante la unión de elementos que fomenten la creación cinematográfica en conjunto con los nuevos medios y el arte digital.
La decima Edición de Tlanchana Fest se realizará del 3 al 5 de Julio de 2026 y contará con una serie de proyecciones, conferencias y talleres, además de instalaciones y otras actividades que se realizarán de manera virtual y presencial y que servirán como incentivo para el quehacer en materia cinematográfica y de arte digital.
With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. The media have written that this is the largest European area of professional workshops in the field of cinema.
AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.
Since the first edition, the festival only accepts unprecedented films in Portugal.
The World Premiere competition is unique in our country and was only possible because Avanca became a passage point of unpublished authors and movies with great quality. Films that have their world premiere in the festival, independently of the submitted category, are also participating in the World Premiere Competition.
AVANCA is the Portuguese festival with the highest percentage of worldwide unpublished movies that find here their first showing.
In 2020 Edition, Avanca will bring for the first time the VR Competition, where films in virtual reality 360°, narrative or experimental (but with no interactivity) are allowed.

El Festival Internacional de Animación La Truca invita a realizadores universitarios, profesionales e independientes, colombianos y extranjeros, a participar en el 7mo Concurso de Cortos Animados que tendrá exhibición y premiación en el marco de la séptima versión de La Truca, del 2 al 5 de mayo en la ciudad de Cali, Colombia.
El Festival de Cine Documental de Melbourne (MDFF) busca un largometraje documental con sede en Melbourne o hecho en Melbourne para abrir o cerrar nuestra histórica décima edición. Puedes inscribirlo a través de Festhome.
El festival se ha convertido en un fenómeno cultural en Melbourne, con entradas agotadas y bises, lo que lo sitúa como uno de los principales festivales de cine de Australia. About the Festival
The Bridge Film Fest is an international competitive cultural event that serves to inspire and connect filmmakers and audiences throughout the region and beyond. Filmmakers participating in the Festival attend screenings of their films at the main 400-seat auditorium and other special events designed to allow interaction between filmmakers and audiences.

The Bridge Film Fest selects and honours films in these categories:

“A Corto di Donne” supports the creativity of women, offering a place of confrontation to those filmmakers from all over the world who have chosen to express an original point of view on social issues and inner feelings of our time, by means of an innovative cinematographic language.
Only short films directed by women, and completed after January 1st 2014, can be submitted. Accepted genres are: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental. The maximum length allowed is 30 minutes.

VIVA FESTIVAL is a permanent event in the field of culture and art, the founder and organizer is the VIVA Association from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Movies can be short and medium length feature.
Competition has four categories:
1. Religion (its themed films that promote the specifics of religion, in order to rapprochement, understanding and inter-religious tolerance);
2. Ecology (films that its theme promote the natural heritage of their countries in order to encourage the development of environmental awareness);
3. Tourism (films that its theme promote the tourism potential of country of origin).
