En el B-Retina Festival queremos dar un espacio a la Serie B de todo tipo, desde el cine trash de guerrilla a obras de culto inclasificables; para ello talentos emergentes, artistas consagrados y personajes difíciles de ubicar, nos mostrarán cómo entienden y ven el mundo que nos rodea usando su inventiva y descaro.
Durante los días del festival nos convertiremos en un escaparate donde todo tiene cabida, películas clásicas, estrenos, cortos, series web, charlas, entrevistas y muchas sorpresas.
El festival cuenta con varias secciones:
-Competición internacional en la sección oficial de LARGOMETRAJES
-Competición internacional en la sección oficial de CORTOMETRAJES
-Retrospectivas
-Sesiones familiares
-Espectáculos gratuitos en el exterior
-Charlas
El objetivo es presentar una selección de los mejores cortometrajes realizados en Colombia o por colombianos en el exterior, en las categorías de ficción, animación, documental, comunitario, indígena, afro, experimental e infantil con el fin de permitir la difusión, el diálogo y la evaluación del desarrollo e importancia del cortometraje dentro de la realización cinematográfica.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de León FICL, invita a participar a todos los cineastas en la Convocatoria Oficial FICL 2025 a partir del 1 de abril al 5 de agosto del presente año pudiendo postularse con largometraje, cortometraje y documental corto de ficción, no ficción o animación para formar parte de la Undécima Edición consecutiva a realizarse entre el 5 de noviembre al 9 de Noviembre del presente año. Los seleccionados podrán ser parte de las tres secciones competitivas del festival: Talento Internacional, Talento Local y Talento Universitario.
Minutos de Terror 2023
La convocatoria queda abierta a partir del 2 de abril hasta el 30 de junio del 2023.
Podrán participar todos aquellos interesados en el género de Suspenso, Terror y Sci-Fi sin restricción de edad o trayectoria profesional.
En esta catorceava edición estamos
Los cortometrajes producidos o co-producidos en México competirán por el premio “Juan Mora Catlett” en honor al director.
Cada equipo o participante podrá presentar un número ilimitado de obras.
La Agrupación Cultural PROA, aglutina a una veintena de integrantes de la mas variada actividad profesional.
Entre nuestras actividades más emblemáticas es el Festival internacional de cine Polo Sur Latinoamericano en Punta Arenas que ha brindando un evento comunal de exitoso resultado, de gran prestigio nacional e internacional, y que se enmarca todos los años en los festejos municipales del Carnaval del Invierno o en dicha estación es un Festival No competitivo.
El Festival es un referente en la zona, y tiene un importante compromiso social, artístico y cultural.

Our objective is to exhibit short documentary film in innovatively repurposed and non-traditional screening spaces across Dublin city. Dublin Doc Fest's previous editions took place in The Sugar Club, Dublin (July 2013), The National Library of Ireland's Reading Room (March 2014), The Irish Georgian Society (Feb 2015), Teeling Whiskey Distillery (Nov 2016) & The Royal Hibernian Academy (Nov 2017).
El Festival Internacional de Cine y las Artes Indígenas en Wallmapu, FicWallmapu propone ser un espacio para fomentar el diálogo intercultural, que constituye un proceso social relevante para el territorio y un aporte a las relaciones entre pueblos y naciones, convocando a realizadores/as indígenas y no indígenas de Chile, Latinoamérica y el mundo, en torno al desarrollo y producción del cine y las artes con temática de los pueblos ancestrales.

El Festival de Cine de Ponferrada es un evento especializado en la difusión y promoción de Cortometrajes de cualquier parte del mundo sin tener en cuenta su formato de producción, distribución, exhibición, categoría, género o temática.
Cine de corta duración que, además de ser un recurso de aprendizaje para los nuevos profesionales de la industria cinematográfica y un medio de promoción para dar el salto al largometraje, también puede ser una forma de expresión, narración y experimentación muy creativa y libre, sin dependencias del mercado.
También apostamos por poner en valor aquellas películas que, independientemente de su duración, reflejen la diversidad cultural, social y lingüística de cualquier región del mundo como parte de la memoria de los pueblos y del patrimonio audiovisual universal más desconocido.
El Festival Internacional de Cine Corto de Cali, con la apertura de su convocatoria, busca servir de espacio para la exhibición de cortometrajes profesionales y universitarios de la ciudad de Cali y el mundo para ser un lugar de encuentro entre los nuevos realizadores y los profesionales del cortometraje.
El XVII Festival Internacional de Cine Corto de Cali tendrá lugar del 23 al 26 de septiembre de 2025, en la ciudad de Santiago de Cali, Colombia.
La convocatoria para las secciones competitivas del festival, estarán abiertas desde el 20 de marzo del 2025 y cerraremos el plazo de inscripción a la medianoche del 31 de mayo del 2025, hora local colombiana (UTC-5).
Las películas enviadas a las secciones: Selección Oficial Nacional, Selección Oficial Nacional Universitaria, Selección Oficial Internacional y Selección Oficial Internacional Universitaria, deben haber sido terminadas después del 15 de enero del 2024.
Los resultados de la convocatoria para las secciones competitivas del festival, se darán a conocer en la página web del festival www.cortoscali.com el 31 de julio del 2025.

(Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival)
HALF Festival stands for Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival. ‘Haiku’ is a very short form of Japanese poetry, here used to mean any short form of aesthetic creativity. ‘Amateur’ here denotes a creation by a creator whose chief intention in the creation is not financial gain. ‘Little’ here stands for shortness of duration of the film. ‘HALF’ denotes also the stipulated duration of the film which is 5 minutes or ‘half’ the time of a traditional film reel which is 10 minutes. Insight, which is organizing this festival, is a group of creative artists, with base at Palakkad, who believe in the infinite potential of the short film as a medium of communication and aesthetic creativity.
