Festival Transterritorial de Cine Underground – XXII Edición (2026)
El Festival Transterritorial de Cine Underground es un evento anual, autogestivo y descentralizado que desde 2005 articula sedes y espacios de exhibición en diversas ciudades de América Latina y otros territorios. Su identidad se funda en la circulación libre del audiovisual, la experimentación formal, la investigación estética y la visibilización de obras que quedan por fuera de los circuitos industriales o hegemónicos.
El festival recibe y exhibe producciones audiovisuales de todo tipo: inéditas, experimentales, marginales, independientes, comunitarias o simplemente ajenas a las lógicas comerciales del cine contemporáneo. Se proyecta en espacios no convencionales, comunitarios, culturales y autogestionados, creando una red transterritorial que opera como herramienta social, política y afectiva.
Miles de obras han transitado esta red en sus veinte años de historia, transformando la relación entre realizadores, programadores y espectadores. La edición XXII continúa esa búsqueda, expandiendo los modos de exhibición y sosteniendo una programación conectada con los lenguajes emergentes, el riesgo estético y las subjetividades que se expresan desde los márgenes.
Las obras seleccionadas podrán exhibirse en cualquier sede de la red, en muestras satélite o en ciclos itinerantes posteriores, siempre en contextos no comerciales y con objetivos culturales, educativos o comunitarios.
Las sedes participantes de 2025 incluyeron proyecciones en Tigre, Quilmes, Ituzaingó, Berazategui, Necochea, Pehuajó y CABA (Buenos Aires), Rio Cuarto (Córdoba), Rosario (Santa Fe) y Tucumán en Argentina; Pamplona y Medellín (Colombia), Punta del Diablo (Uruguay) y Berlín (Alemania).
World Documentary Awards is the sister festival of the World Film Awards. By establishing this festival, we hope to exhibit the winning international documentary films to the Indonesian and international audience, bolster filmmakers’ assurance to give their best for the film industry, and prevail the film industry internationally.
The festival is opened for professionals and newcomers in the industry globally. Various languages with English subtitles or dubbing are welcome.
Truth well captured in an excellent cinematic motion is an art documentary filmmakers struggle to achieve. The Festival greets all documentary filmmakers to show their talents and passions through their films. We are looking for intelligent, well-produced, smartly edited documentary films from any type of true-life films that engage in interesting story telling, and could be mixed with dramatic situation. Documentary filmmakers have a series of categories entries to enter to, and to widen their chances to win, they are offered with the cost-effective Package-of-Five.
The World Film Awards group is partnering with the largest movie theater chain in Indonesia, international culture centers, and several private institutions and organizations. We will conduct prestigious awards day, press conference, workshops, and screenings that will be attended by international filmmakers, mass media, mass media, government bodies, and celebrities. All winners and accepted filmmakers and members are welcomed at these events and we will acknowledge attending filmmakers with specific physical awards.
Baja CineFest is an online international film festival aimed to inspire, motivate and award filmmakers from across the globe. Each year we will honor the best films in various competition categories and we will give recognition and highlight the best talented people in front and behind the camera.
Baja CineFest is proud to accept all kind of films and genres, even the films that have been overlooked by larger festivals. We want commercial films, underground films, experimental films, comedic films, etc. We got professional judges for every taste, three professional filmmakers and three professional screenwriters.
Films will not be physically screened for the public. Once the Official Jury has concluded the judging process, winners and awards will be announced publicly on our website.

FAST ANCHOR FILM FESTIVAL (FAFF)

Fast Anchor Film Festival (FAFF) was set up in early 2016 with the simple aim of bringing together talented filmmakers and fierce film-lovers to celebrate some of the best independent short films from across the world.
Cinema Grand Prix (CGP) is a festival and award event. Its goal is to promote works of excellence for the growth of film and music industry and popularizing film and art as the prime media of communication. CGP is looking for excellent works of art to be distributed in the Asian market.
We accept feature and short films and documentaries, screenplays, photos, and music videos. Juries, consist of professionals in the film and music industry, will judge the quality of each submission carefully. Films made with passion, excellent composition quality, heart-moving music, striking and outstanding images, and heart-tickling stories are qualities we are looking for and will stand out among others.
Students and newcomers are encouraged to participate in the festival to boost the reputation.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
Tradicionalmente, Queens World incluye un festival de cine anual de varios días de duración, oportunidades de proyección durante todo el año para antiguos alumnos de QWFF, eventos especiales para reunir a la comunidad cinematográfica indie y una iniciativa educativa para jóvenes y personas mayores. Al igual que todos los demás, lo estamos manteniendo fluido y respondiendo a las necesidades de la comunidad de Indie Film.
El 10º Festival Anual estaba programado para el 19 al 29 de marzo de 2020 en el Museo de Imagen en Movimiento y el Teatro Zukor en los Estudios Kaufman-Astoria. Cuando cerramos el 16 de marzo, cambiamos de rumbo y abrimos a tiempo - online - con 191 películas de 32 países que obtuvieron más de 30.000 visitas.
Después del festival Queens World lanzó Wednesday Nights @9, 19 transmisiones semanales en vivo que identificaron a individuos y organizaciones como nuestro 'Héroe de la semana'. En su honor, hemos comisariado un bloque de películas de cineastas que trabajan en temas similares que se extendieron de domingo a domingo en Vimeo. Los miércoles por la noche reunimos a los Héroes y a los Cineastas de la Semana para discutir su trabajo. Fuimos 19 semanas y reunimos más de 19.000 visitas.
En preparación para el Q11, estamos trabajando con nuestras sedes y nuestros socios para maximizar todos los recursos disponibles para el festival. Utilizaremos nuestra programación temática exclusiva, agrupando películas para crear experiencias cinematográficas específicas y cada evento de proyección estará acompañado por Filmmaker Q&A. Nuestros planes para junio de 2021 incluyen un evento virtual y un evento en vivo con algunos elementos globales muy emocionantes que compartiremos con ustedes en una fecha posterior.
Aunque este es un momento difícil en nuestro planeta, ahora no es el momento de dejar de comunicarse, de dejar de buscar lo que nos curará, o de dejar de reunirse. Queens World sigue enfocado en ideas, historias con corazón, películas con un punto de vista y artistas que desafían..

El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.

El Ayuntamiento de Arganda del Rey convoca la tercera edición del Festival Internacional de Cine el próximo 14 de diciembre de 2019, el cual se compone de dos secciones: Premio Internacional y Premio Ciudad de Arganda.
La participación está abierta a todos los productores/as y realizadores/as de cine que presentan películas de producción nacional o internacional.
Final Girls Berlin Film Festival exhibe cine de terror dirigido, escrito o producido por mujeres*. Celebramos la sexta edición de FGBFF del 3 al 6 de febrero de 2022 en Berlín. DocsBarcelona es un festival internacional de cine especializado en el género documental que comprende secciones competitivas internacionales y nacionales, secciones no competitivas y retrospectivas. Todas las películas son seleccionadas por los programadores y el director artístico.
DocsBarcelona celebrará la 27ª edición del 2 al 12 de mayo de 2024.
El Videofestival Imperia, organizado por Officine Digitali, está abierto a aficionados y profesionales. La inscripción es gratuita. El Festival se encuentra en su 14ª edición y tendrá lugar en Imperia del 05 de mayo al 09 de mayo de 2020. La fecha límite para las obras extranjeras es el 02 de diciembre de 2019. 21118 autores de 100 naciones participaron en la edición de 2019. Se proyectaron 88 películas.
CATEGORÍA INTERNACIONAL:
Reservado a autores extranjeros. Las secciones son: Cortometrajes, Documentales, Animación y Gráficos de duración ilimitada. Las obras deben estar subtituladas en uno de los siguientes idiomas: italiano, francés, inglés. A la primera obra seleccionada de cada sección se le otorgará un premio. El sujeto es gratis.
CATEGORÍA EXPLORER:
Abierto a autores nacionales e internacionales. Las secciones son: Documental de Viaje (duración máxima 30 min.) y Documental de Naturaleza (duración ilimitada). Sólo se otorgará un premio a una obra elegida por el jurado.

Tlanchana Fest, Festival de Cine y Arte Digital es realizado por Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual A.C., con el fin de crear un espacio de exhibición para los talentos emergentes de México y el mundo, mediante la unión de elementos que fomenten la creación cinematográfica en conjunto con los nuevos medios y el arte digital.
La decima Edición de Tlanchana Fest se realizará del 3 al 5 de Julio de 2026 y contará con una serie de proyecciones, conferencias y talleres, además de instalaciones y otras actividades que se realizarán de manera virtual y presencial y que servirán como incentivo para el quehacer en materia cinematográfica y de arte digital.
