Through International Film Festival for Documentary, Short, and Comedy, we hope to facilitate creative filmmakers to show their artwork, encourage talented and passionate filmmakers to express their voice and to provide positive life through a laugh and meditative encouragement.
We are seeking films (both short films and documentaries) with strong voice, originality, creativity, and flowing story-telling, and produced with excellent techniques to be our showcase.
The International Film Festival for Documentary, Short, and Comedy will act as a mean to sustain and promote the continuity of creativity and artworks produced and carved by filmmakers all over the world in following their dreams to speak their story, to show real events and life, as well as to participate in the film industry.
The International Film Festival for Documentary, Short, and Comedy opens its submissions from filmmakers all over the world. We accept documentary (any length), short films, and films (any length) with comedy genres. Newcomers are welcomed. The films will be pre-selected before presented to the judging panel.
We aim to provide quality entertainment with social awareness, offering a bright and sensitive look at the world of work.
The works to be competed must tell stories related to the world of work and of the workers and their lives.
By way of example, below are four important themes and pillars from which to consider the ‘labour’ theme.
PEOPLE
Life stories where the protagonists are the workers themselves. Stories about their lives and their dreams told through intimate stories that show the contribution of each individual to their work or a project related to work and/or their place in the society to which they belong.
EDUCATION
Training contributes to improving quality of work and quality of life. Contents designed to educate that are entertaining and/or innovative formats that highlight education as a fundamental piece of individual progression in society as a whole.
INDUSTRY
The industry is the meeting place between technological and human resources. In this axis the role of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial activity, scientific and technological advances, participation of the state, the union role and human capital are evidenced. The development of industry as a path to the future of work.
SOCIAL DIMENSION
A fundamental pillar in the construction of a country, is that we understand the social aspect as the basis upon which better societies must be built. Issues such as solidarity, environmental awareness, sustainability and the care of the planet in which we live in, fundamental rights in the workplace, gender equality, inclusion, child labour, forced labour migrant labour, disability and work, and social protection among other issues.
These are all valid themes to apply for the contest.

In order to spread the work of film students, creating audiovisual workshops in public high schools and promote the screening of short films among the general public, we present the film festival "FECIN. From school to school. Film School Fest". The International Animal and Environmental Film Festival of Mexico City welcomes you for its 5th. Edition where we accept films from the 5 continents like every year.
Our task at the Festival is to promote values, causes and activist struggle through Art where we open different windows of opportunity to show the work of great Filmmakers in it. Because it is a Festival with reasons of Animal and Environmental awareness and this year the cause of "Children's Rights", all projects will receive a participation laurel if they are not in the final sample, likewise the official selection will have its laurel of participation. Official selection and a diploma sent to your email, then the Winners will win the FICAA 2024 statuette with their recognition sent to the registered email.
The final Award is in the Month of December where guests from different Countries and States of the Country arrive to collect their statuette.

It is good to clarify that the participants in the "Video clip" section must expressly declare that they are authorized to participate in the competition by the copyright holders of the song.
Each short film will be able to participate in more than one section and all the short films submitted will automatically participate in the selection for the "best film" and "New signs" prize.
Only those selected for the "best film" will also compete for the "public prize".
The registration of a film in the competition selection process of the festival indicates the full acceptance of these bases. The organization of the Festival will resolve in an unappealable manner with respect to any matter included in this regulation or its interpretation. The sender of the film authorizes FEDOCHI to select some sequences not exceeding three minutes that can be broadcast by TV, within the framework of programs and spots that disseminate the festival.
The 14th version of the Documentary Film Festival of Chiloe will take place between November 5 and 10, 2018.

EDITA is a festival of short films for social transformation that aims, through audiovisual creation, to increase critical capacity, involve citizens in the promotion of rights and make viewers feel called and challenged to action for social change.
With this event, ASAD wants to get to know and disseminate new social imaginaries, look from other perspectives and approach non-hegemonic proposals that are committed to gender equality, cultural diversity and climate action.

FESCIMED was born with the desire to consolidate itself as a reference in the panorama of short film festivals organized in Spain in order to help raise awareness of the need to deepen and protect the values that underpin justice, freedom and democracy. The 1st NYIFF will be held from November 21-24, 2017. The 4-day event will include a film competition, forum, and the film screening.
