‘Mal del Cap, Naratives Mal Dites" is the name of the International Festival of Short Films and New Narratives that Mal del Cap, Cultura Mal Dita of Eivissa has been running since 2014.
This festival aims to be a meeting place and a place to generate ties between the participants and the citizens of Eivissa with the aim of consolidating itself as a space with the potential to forge encounters for audiovisual exhibition and creation.
‘Mal del Cap’ is an independent festival based on experimentation and the search to find new ways of narrating or expressing through the image, and to this end we are organising a short film competition to encourage the participation of citizens, especially the youngest members of the population.
RIZOMA is a unique international festival that combines film, art, music, conferences and community engagement to build each edition around a central concept.
Like the rhizome itself, RIZOMA is interconnected, interdependent and non-hierarchical. RIZOMA values that the different branches of culture feed and inspire each other. We believe in the horizontality of a rhizome so it is important to bring together emerging and established artists so that some feed off each other and of course the public as a part of the festival.

All best films that were selected for the screening, will be shown on the big screen during the solemn final ceremony on September 16 - 21, 2025 in Moscow, Russia and will be able to struggle for the main prize and the title of the "Best film". As well as for the prizes in the standalone nominations.

The FIFP opens its registrations for its new official selection in competition devoted to short fiction and documentary films.

In any category the Festival may invite some short films, or feature films directly.

The FICC is one of the pioneering festivals in Ecuador that has been consolidated throughout more than two decades of history. During different editions, our event received the visit of renowned international film personalities such as Laurent Cantet, Isaki Lacuesta, Goran Paskaljevic and Eduardo Noriega, among many others.
The 2024 Festival will have three competitive sections: International Feature Film Competition (for works of more than 40 minutes of any theme, genre and style), International Short Film Competition and our new Dark Zone competition, dedicated to horror and fantasy cinema. The Association of Deaf People of Tolosaldea-Goierri, proposes to organize the XIII. International Festival of Cinema in sign Language, awards GAINDITZEN 2022. We will have a short film contest and on the other hand, we'll present documentary and feature films in sign language.
