Das 8. jährliche SciFi Film Festival kehrt vom 23. bis 26. September 2021 in den Event Cinemas in der George Street zurück.
Das SciFi Film Festival ist eine jährliche Veranstaltung in Sydney, Australien, die sich der Feier und Förderung fantastischer Science Fiction, Fantasy und Horror Genre-Geschichten aus Australien auf der ganzen Welt widmet.
Unser kuratiertes Programm umfasst die neuesten Indie- und Mainstream-Filme bis hin zu Themenvorführungen und Kult-Klassikern sowie Crowd-ansprechende Events, von Foren bis hin zu Q&As mit Filmemachern und ihrer Crew, auch wir haben eine eklektische Mischung aus Sidehow-Aktivitäten, die Spaß, schrullig sind und sich von Zeit zu Zeit ändern werden.
Das India Cine Film Festival hat seine Wurzeln fast ein Jahrzehnt in Nordindien. Das Festival wurde in Meerut ins Leben gerufen und in Noida mit Beteiligung aus fast 18 Ländern erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Im Jahr 2014 hat das Miniboxoffice das Festival offiziell von seinen Organisatoren übernommen und das Indian Cine Film Festival bewegt sich nun mit leidenschaftlichen Köpfen von Miniboxoffice. Ziel der ICFF-26 ist es, dem unabhängigen Kino Dynamik zu verleihen.
Ziel der ICFF ist es, eine Plattform für die Begegnung, den Austausch und die Entwicklung großartiger filmischer Ideen zu schaffen. Das Festival veranstaltet neben internationalen Filmwettbewerben auch Meisterkurse und Diskussionen, die sich auf den Filmmarkt und die Branche konzentrieren. Das Festival wird einen zentralen Ort bieten, an dem Branchenvertreter Geschäfte austauschen können und neue Möglichkeiten für neue Talente geschaffen werden sollen.
Die 14. Ausgabe des Indian Cine Film Festival soll einen neuen Meilenstein setzen, und es ist ein Bestreben von Miniboxoffice, es für jeden Teilnehmer relevant zu machen. In diesem Sinne heiße ich euch alle willkommen und wir sehen uns auf der ICFF-26 mit eurem filmischen Können.
Das 15. Bangalore Shorts Film Festival-26 ist eine Bewegung zur Anerkennung und Popularisierung der Arbeit junger und erfahrener Filmemacher aus ganz Indien und der Welt. Die bescheidene Reise der BSFF begann im Jahr 2012, um das 100-jährige Bestehen des indischen Kinos zu feiern und den Beitrag der Kannada-Filmindustrie zur Entwicklung des Kinos in Indien zu würdigen. Das Festival bietet aufstrebenden und professionellen Filmemachern eine Plattform, um ihr Talent mit Networking- und Marketingmöglichkeiten in der Filmbranche unter Beweis zu stellen.
Ziel des Festivals ist es, die Kurzfilmkultur in Indien zu fördern, aufstrebende Filmemacher zu fördern, Einnahmequellen für Kurzfilme zu erschließen und das Produzieren von Kurzfilmen zu einem kommerziellen Unternehmen zu machen. BSFF-12 bis 25 waren ein großer Erfolg mit großer Beteiligung von Filmemachern aus dem ganzen Land und dem Ausland.
BSFF-26 hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, unter Beteiligung von Filmemachern noch größer und besser zu werden. In diesem Jahr wird das Festival mehr Workshops und Meisterkurse anbieten. Der Miniboxoffice Film Market wird das Highlight für Filmemacher sein, die sich in die Spielfilmproduktion wagen möchten. Der Kurzfilmwettbewerb und das Festivalprogramm werden eine Freude sein.

Das 2013 ins Leben gerufene LakeCity International Film Festival (LCIFF) in Mumbai wurde gegründet, um aufstrebende Talente und führende Persönlichkeiten des zeitgenössischen Filmemachens zu präsentieren und die faszinierendsten und innovativsten Inhalte zu präsentieren.
Mission des Festivals:
Als führendes Filmfestival hat sich das LCIFF zum Ziel gesetzt, hochwertige Filme aus der ganzen Welt zu präsentieren und Indie-Filmemacher zu unterstützen, anzuerkennen und zu ehren. Bevor Sie Ihren Beitrag oder Ihre Beiträge einreichen, informieren Sie sich bitte darüber, dass Ihre Filme an verschiedenen Colleges, Schulen und Universitäten von Rajasthan kostenlos gezeigt werden. Das Publikum wird Ihren Film vor Ort ansehen und bewerten. Auf der Grundlage ihrer Bewertungen werden die besten Filme in die engere Wahl gezogen. Diese Filme werden dann von unserer Jury bewertet.
Für die Vorführung Ihrer Filme ist keine Entschädigung zulässig. Ihr (e) Film (e) können auch auf lokalen oder nationalen Fernsehsendern gezeigt werden. Für eine solche Vorführung werden keine Lizenzgebühren gezahlt.
Personen, die eine Zahlung für die Vorführung ihrer Filme erwarten, werden gebeten, keine Beiträge an PCISFF zu senden.
The Birdies Film Festival is an international festival in London with the aim of empowering young and amateur filmmakers (16-26) from all around the world to build on their skill sets and confidence in their creations.

The European Short Films Amarante was created in 2014 by a partnership between the Casa da Juventude de Amarante and the Cineclube de Amarante, and it´s main objectives are the promotion of European values and the citizens role in the democratic life of Europe.
We wish to disseminate new opportunities in Europe for young people, namely through Erasmus+ and Creative Programmes. We also desire to spread cinematographic practices and short films learning and to expand Amarante´s cultural offerings.

The Art Color Digital Cinema International Film Festival opened in 2014. The ACDCIFF offers a setting for filmmakers to premiere new work and for audiences to see innovative new films from innovative filmmakers. The festival is IMDb qualifying - the awarded films will be granted an IMDb title page.
The "Golden Piglet" award might include a cash award as well.

Depuis 2013, l’association « Les Alibis » organise le Film Noir Festival, un festival de films ayant pour thème le Film Noir. Il s’agit du premier et du seul festival en France ayant pour thème ce genre cinématographique.
Lors des premières éditions, le Film Noir Festival s’était donné comme objectif d’éclairer le public sur le courant cinématographique qu’est le Film Noir.
Durant 4 jours, ce sont plus de 30 films de jeunes réalisateurs, au travers de la compétition internationale de courts métrages soumise au regard du jury des professionnels, mais aussi de cinéastes plus confirmés par le biais de la rétrospective généraliste de longs métrages et des avant-premières nationales, qui ont été présentés à un large public éclectique et de tout âge.
En octobre 2013, le Film Noir Festival s’est associé à la Film Noir Foundation de San Francisco créée et présidée par Eddie Muller, spécialiste mondial du Film Noir et fondateur du festival Noir City à San Francisco, à qui elle a décerné son premier Prix d'honneur en décembre 2013.
Pour sa quatrième édition, qui se tiendra du 24 au 27 novembre 2016 au cinéma "Le Vincennes" (94), le Film Noir Festival poursuivra son éclairage sur le Film Noir en proposant de nouveau une programmation de films inédits ou rares au travers de la rétrospective de 10 longs métrages, des avant-premières en ouverture et en clôture du Festival, des hommages à des réalisateurs, des acteurs ou des compositeurs emblématiques du Film Noir mais également au travers de la compétition internationale de courts métrages.

LA MANO, Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico y de Terror is a free and competitive festival and it is dedicated to fantasy, sci-fi and horror cinema.
We are a small nonprofit festival (free tickets for scifi audience) and we work with public libraries support (lectures, exhibitions...etc.) We have no corporate sponsorship. It is the people of the city, people who love horror (a lot of bakers, plumbers, teachers...etc) who fund us.
This festival was created as a contest with a-1000-Euro prize (best film) and 350 Euros (best short film). That's all we could offer, plus a quality projection in a really good theatre and Spanish press coverage.
Our organization wishes to create and perpetuate an exciting event that creates a community of horror and sci-fi fans and filmmakers who encourage and appreciate Spanish people about horror and sci-fi filmmaking.

The Villamayor de Cine European Short Film Festival was born in 2008 in the charming village of Villamayor de Santiago, located in the province of Cuenca. Its main mission from the beginning has been to create a space where short films take center stage and young directors have a chance to shine.
Every August, the festival comes to life through the dedication of a team of over forty young professionals. Under the guidance of its founder, Javier Alonso, they work tirelessly to bring the best of European short cinema to Villamayor de Santiago.
Renowned Spanish actor Jesús Guzmán served as the festival’s Honorary President until his passing in 2023. In his memory, the award for Best Fiction Short Film now bears his name, keeping his legacy alive in the film world.
The festival is hosted by acclaimed actor and presenter Luis Mottola, whose professionalism and charisma add great value to the event. Mottola holds a special affection for Villamayor, and the town, in turn, holds him in high regard. @luismottola

Manchmal werden wir gewarnt, dass wir, wenn „Größe keine Rolle spielt“, audiovisuelle Werke ohne Längenbeschränkung auswählen und zeigen müssten, und vielleicht sind sie nicht falsch. Wir sind jedoch der Meinung, dass die Dinge nicht zu groß sein müssen, um wichtig, schön, notwendig oder entscheidend zu sein, und das ist die Philosophie, die wir seit fast der ersten Ausgabe dieses Festivals verfolgen.
Wir verteidigen die Werke von kurzer Dauer, weil wir glauben, dass es möglich ist, den Einfallsreichtum zu entdecken, der sich auf einen kurzen Zeitraum konzentriert. Dieses Ziel ist der Grund, der uns bewegt und uns dazu antreibt, weiter nach den Vorschlägen zu suchen und zu stöbern, die uns erreichen, um eine Auswahl ganz unterschiedlicher Themen, Typologien und Genres zu treffen, um die Bandbreite der Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten der Kurzgeschichte aufzuzeigen.
