Our project sees a return to basics with the new languages. We all know that the web today, allows the exchange shared. Remove obstacles and reduce costs. It facilitates the understanding of another's view and proposes openings and opportunities that were previously impossible. Our goal is to bring the island the work of new interpreters of the new film. Many directors with excellent technical and good ideas, give birth to important messages, offering new emotions with their films.
Not invented nothing, that's for sure, but you can reproduce with new versions, and our organization wants that.
Our Festival is divided into three sessions.
1st Session
From 14 October 2015 and will close on Jan. 14, 2016.
The January 30, 2016 will be made public the names of the directors and the films selected for the final will be in Alghero (Sardynia - Italy) in summer 2016.

2nd Session
January 15, and it will close 15 April 2016.
The April 30, 2016 will be published in the names of the directors and the films selected for the final will be in Alghero (Sardynia - Italy) in summer 2016. Each finalist will be sent certificates and awards.
3rd Session
From April 16 and will close July 17, 2016.
The July 30, 2016 will be published in the names of the directors selected and rewarded with awards and certificates.
The films chosen by the jury selected among all the sections will be shown during the month of September 2016 in the city of Alghero Sardynia - Italy and its surroundings. Dates and locations will be announced during the course of the competition, and published officially on the website of the festival.
We are open to any type of artistic expression that relates to the visual language. Our Festival is ready to welcome seven sections:

For each session, in addition to the premium category for best film will be awarded honorable mentions based on the quality of cinematic content, audio, video, editing, story, film and other aspects
Filmmakers competing in festivals that require not to have their films publicly online can submit their films and share the trailer, teaser or behind the scenes video. Judges will award the best films through private screenings.

Kan-Kan Media is pleased to announce the second edition of “A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” Shanghai.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” is a unique film event that aims to bring together Chinese film and art institutions, film professionals, students and audience in Shanghai and create a platform to exchange and promote the diversity of the world cinema. During 10 days the festival will present more than 200 short films selected from more than 60 countries around the world.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS” Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan-Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions like Minsheng Museum of Contemporary Arts in Shanghai (official host of the Festival) and Shanghai Film Art Academy. It arises from the need to create a platform for a dialogue and exchange between film professionals, students, film communities and audiences taking as a reference point Shanghai/China.
The previous edition of LWSF was a huge success with more than 2000 submissions, 200 films selected and 10 days of film screenings, workshops, talks, music concerts and dance performances attended by 1000+ film-lovers, among them film professionals, students, film communities and artists of other disciplines.
This year the focus will be on the discovery of emerging talents both internationally and in China in order to bring them into the public spotlight and offer them the opportunities for networking and a platform where ideas and work can be exchanged among a new generation of film creators worldwide.
The festival has two main categories: International Section and Chinese Section, accompanied by showcases of outstanding festivals from various countries, as well as workshops, master-classes and other special events.
All the films meeting the submission criteria will be considered for the International Short Film Competition Award for Best Short Film, Best Director, Audience and Outstanding Story Award.

La idea del Radical Frame Film Festival surgió hace años, cuando un grupo de activistas, artistas y amigos de Denver decidieron dar a conocer al público los mensajes del cine videoactivista.
Creemos que, debido al clima social y político actual, tanto a nivel local como global, nuestra misión (ofrecer un foro para películas y debates que inviten a la reflexión) es más crítica que nunca.
Nos comprometemos a presentar películas progresistas, de izquierda, radicales, antirracistas, experimentales y visionarias que aborden temas como, entre otros, el medio ambiente, los derechos humanos, la injusticia social, la antiglobalización, etc.

SUEÑOS EN CORTO 2025
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Zanzíbar está aceptando candidaturas para todas las películas africanas (incluyendo la diáspora africana) y películas de la región de los países de Dhow: Asia sudoriental, la península arábiga, el Golfo Pérsico, Irán, Pakistán, India y las islas del Océano Índico. ZIFF se reserva el derecho de aceptar cualquier película que tenga un interés específico para el festival.
El Colegio Los Ángeles San Fernando tiene el gusto de invitar a su institución a participar en la Sexta Muestra Nacional Intercolegiada de Cine corto, a realizarse el día 28 de mayo de 2016 en el auditorio Mercedes Herrera del Colegio Los Ángeles San Fernando.

El XII Festival Internacional de Cine de la Frontera está organizado por la Associação Pró Santa Thereza e Urcamp, promovida por el Departamento Municipal de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Bagé.
Se celebrará en Bagé, en la frontera entre Brasil y Uruguay, del 17 al 19 de diciembre de 2021.
La democratización y el acceso a la producción audiovisual, así como las actividades formativas dirigidas al desarrollo económico y social de la región, son los principales focos del Festival Internacional de Cine de Fronteira. Su programa de cortometrajes y largometrajes es gratuito y participativo, con un jurado oficial y premios populares del jurado. Tras una interrupción debido a la pandemia, volvimos con las adaptaciones y medidas de restricción necesarias para el disfrute presencial del evento.

Profesional: Consideramos profesionales a todas aquellas personas que tengan un título universitario relacionado al cine//audiovisual o estén cursando dichas carreras. Es necesario que el/la director/a de la obra tenga un título universitario de cine// audiovisual, esté en proceso de obtenerlo o cursando una de las carreras antes mencionadas.
Amateur: Consideramos amateur a todas aquellas personas que hagan realizaciones cinematográficas//audiovisuales, pero que no tengan título formal en cine//audiovisual ni estén en proceso de obtenerlo.
E-Festival es un festival competitivo abierto a todo tipo de obras audiovisuales.
Fundado en 1973, Curtas Festival do Imaxinario es el festival más antiguo y el mayor evento dedicado al cine fantástico, de ciencia ficción y de terror en Galicia. El Festival de Cine Popular, un evento dinámico de tres días que celebra la voz del pueblo a través del poder del cine, el arte y la tecnología. Nuestro festival tendrá lugar del 29 de mayo de 2025 al 31 de mayo de 2025 en Harlem, Nueva York, y presenta películas de todo el mundo.

Nuestro festival se celebra en Harlem, Nueva York, una comunidad próspera y vibrante con una rica historia cultural. Es la máxima sinergia de la mejor música, literatura, arte y entretenimiento, también conocida colectivamente como El Renacimiento de Harlem. Los cineastas y los cinéfilos se reúnen cada año para compartir información de forma activa, repartir el pan y entablar relaciones.
El Festival de Cine Popular es una gran iniciativa de la Fundación People's Media, Music & Arts (TPMMAF), una corporación sin fines de lucro 501 (c) 3. Utilizamos nuestra plataforma para dar a conocer el cine, la tecnología, los medios de comunicación, la música y el arte independientes en todo el mundo y, al mismo tiempo, alentamos a las personas, especialmente en el área de Harlem, Nueva York, a desarrollar una mayor apreciación y comprensión de la diversidad cultural en los medios de comunicación.

Este 2024, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Iquique (Ficiqq) celebrará 15 años. Ficiqq es un certamen único en la región de Tarapacá que en esta ocasión es financiado por el Fondo de Fomento Audiovisual 2024, y cuenta con el auspicio de SQM Yodo Nutrición Vegetal junto a la producción de Volcánica Films.
