Atento às grandes transformações que sempre ocorrem nesta área o Curta Cabo Frio inova mais uma vez, e apresenta a Mostra Competitiva de Longas-Metragens realizados em formato digital, trazendo para cá os grandes questionamentos do mercado acerca do futuro do cinema.
Serão diversos locais de exibição e expectativa total de público de 10.000 pessoas, nos 7 dias de festival. Números que fazem do Curta Cabo Frio, o maior evento de audiovisual do interior do estado.
Com o objetivo de expandir o meio cinematográfico e audiovisual na região o festival realizará mostras itinerantes em bairros e escolas municipais da cidade, exibindo filmes para todos e proporcionando com isso a descentralização da cultura.
Visando facilitar a participação da população local na produção de vídeos temos a mostra competitiva para curtas produzidos em câmera de celular e câmera fotográfica, novas mídias que tornam possível que o realizador amador faça o seu próprio cinema.
As oficinas de audiovisual também acontecem permitindo ao festival gerar oportunidades para a população produzir material que retratem a sua realidade, alem de ajudar na criação de mão de obra qualificada.
Com valores inovadores, o Curta Cabo Frio coloca-se como uma alternativa para a exibição de novas experiências e descobertas de talentos, principalmente no estado fluminense, tornando-se uma opção para os amantes de audiovisual no circuito brasileiro de cinema.

O Molins Film Festival foi criado em 1973 em Molins de Rei (Barcelona). Em novembro de 2025, realizaremos a 44ª edição.
Conhecido como TerrorMolins, o Festival consiste em seções oficiais de longas-metragens competitivas, seção oficial de curtas-metragens, retrospectivas, documentários, shows ao vivo, workshops, rede/apresentação, projeções para escolas de ensino médio, projeções para crianças... e uma das maratonas de filmes de terror mais antigas do mundo, nossa Maratona de Filmes de Terror de 12 Horas (1973)...
O MHFF - Molins Horror Film Festival é um dos festivais mais antigos dedicados exclusivamente ao terror na Espanha e na Europa. O Festival é membro da Federação Internacional de Festivais de Méliès (MIFF).
Fiaticorti nasceu em 2000 a partir da ideia de alguns membros do “Projeto Juvenil” de Istrana.
O nome do evento foi escolhido por dois motivos: primeiro, 'falta de ar' (fiato corto) é o efeito do esforço físico de curta duração (a mesma duração dos curtas-metragens). Além disso, um filme que pode durar até 20 minutos é capaz de transmitir emoções fortes ao espectador, deixando-o “sem fôlego”.
Inicialmente, o fiaticorti foi condensado em uma única noite, ou seja, uma noite de premiação. No entanto, a partir da 4ª edição, o formato foi aprimorado e o festival se desenvolve em quatro etapas, durante as quais os melhores trabalhos são apresentados.
Em 2006, a seção FiativeNeti foi introduzida, para premiar cineastas de curta-metragem da região de Veneto.
2011 representou o ponto de virada da fiaticorti. O diretor artístico de longa data Gianni Billio não apenas passou o bastão para Bartolo Ayroldi Sagarriga (o novo diretor artístico), Andrea Grespan e Simone Perotto, mas a qualidade dos filmes em competição aumentou dramaticamente, junto com o número de participantes estrangeiros, principalmente da França, Grã-Bretanha, Romênia e Espanha. fiaticorti tornou-se cada vez mais um evento internacional.
Mas a identidade do festival, conectada à cultura do clube de cinema italiano dos anos setenta, sempre permaneceu a mesma. Seu objetivo é transmitir cultura e paixão por curtas-metragens. É por isso que a direção artística optou por não acompanhar o festival com eventos de outros tipos.

After the screenings, audiences are invited to dialogue with leading urban thinkers about the issues raised during the movie and discuss current local projects.

Cinephone is a festival of short films made with mobile phone internationally and free theme that aims to bring filmmaking to a wider segment of the public with minimal economic costs.
- The mission & objective of the festival is to give short films an identity that differentiates art form ,from the conventional big screen.CISFFI show cases short films that celebrate diverse cultures ,aesthetic traditions, social & relevant themes & other works that challenge &transcend exceptions.Our particular interest is in short films that deal with novel themes,cutting-edges technology & visualization, traditional as well as those that dissent in form, technique or content from the mainstream.
The festival is organized by the Udada Festival Trust (UFT) and seeks to develop a local and regional audience by showcasing films that have been done by women for women and are not necessarily distributed in local cinemas or television. Special attention will be given to African films made by women and films pertaining to African women.
The mandate of the UDADA Film Festival is to:
Facilitate interaction between women filmmakers; and women filmmakers and their audiences;
Support and encourage women involved in film production;
Increase the exposure of new productions written and/or directed by women;
Showcase women productions to the Kenyan and International film industry for future ventures;
Provide opportunities for professional development;
Provide a marketplace for industry. In essence, a reverse trade mission providing local filmmakers and producers access to the national and international film industry;
Develop and offer youth programs to develop the next generation of filmmakers.
A 14ª versão do Festival tem como tema central “Cinema Comunitário como gerador de Mudança e Progresso Social”, o júri prioriza conteúdos que tenham esse foco, porém a recepção de peças audiovisuais não se fecha exclusivamente a esse tema, pois Portanto, outros tipos de conteúdo serão amplamente aceitos.

É por esse motivo que o Festival de Cinema e Vídeo Comuna 13, A Outra História, em sua versão 2024, decidiu gerar espaços de diálogo e troca de conhecimento em torno do cinema comunitário, incentivando a participação dos grupos mais proeminentes do país nessa modalidade, a fim de compartilhar experiências, metodologias e conhecimentos com o setor acadêmico de nossa cidade (rede de criação audiovisual, mídia técnica, escolas de paz, entre outros)
O Festival Internacional de Cinema de Leon IFFOL convida todos os cineastas a participarem da Chamada Oficial do IFFOL 2024 de 1º de abril a 05 de agosto deste ano, podendo se inscrever com longa-metragem de ficção, não ficção ou animação, curta-metragem ou documentário curto para fazer parte da 10ª edição consecutiva a ser realizada entre 30 de outubro e 03 de novembro deste ano. Os selecionados podem fazer parte das três seções competitivas do festival: Talento Internacional, Talento Local e Talento Universitário.

Na edição de 2021 tivemos a honra de premiar o ator Giuseppe Fiorello em seu último filme “L'afide e la formica”, vencedor do prêmio de melhor longa-metragem.

6th CinemAvvenire Film Festival carries on and strengthens the International/European dimension of the Associazione Centro Internazionale CinemAvvenire, a project managed with enthusiasm and determination since 1992 through the starting idea by Gillo Pontecorvo.
Lumière 2015 signs a crucial step forward; the previous edition hosted 100 feature films and 200 shorts from 60 different Countries.
Each tool of the festival is at disposal for the discover and the exploration of new styles and talents, assisting and supporting the independent productions setting a European platform for their expectations. A look at the past won’t be ignored –bringing to light some unpopular zone of Cinema History – as it belongs to the logic of discovery too.
We have concluded many deals with several partners around Europe. This partnerships are planned to decentralize the event with the aim to promote young talents inside a European web allowing audiovisual works to get a broader circulation around EU.
This European direction led us choosing the platypus as logo for our festival. It unites different parts from different animals and this feature makes it unique. It has a duckbill, the tail as rodents, the paws as reptiles and it lays eggs notwithstanding it is a mammal animal. Its skills let it free form categorization and guardian of a precious metaphor: united in diversity.

The 2019 Great Lakes International Film Festival will accept all forms of Religious, Christian, and Spiritual films including African, African-American, GLBT, Black, Hispanic, Islamic, Latino, Native/Aboriginal and student films from the United States and around the world.
In addition to awards presented to Filmmakers for Best of Genre, our Festival will present an Audience Choice Award to the Filmmaker whose film is the most popular with our attendees, and that receives the most attendee votes.
Showcasing the best films of the 2019 season, the Great Lakes International Film Festival will be held LIVE in the great city of Erie, Pennsylvania starting on September 19th, 2019, with our virtual festival taking place September 19th thru September 28th, 2019.
Though the GLIFF success does not come from an excess of big names celebrities crowding its red carpet, but instead from a formidable catalogue of exceptionally high caliber Independent Films and career launches, still, over the years we have had many films that have screened on the Sundance Channel, IFC, PBS and HBO along with countless filmmakers who have received distribution deals after screening in our festival.
Since our inception, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has showcased more than 2,000 films, and has played host to countless celebrities such as actor, writer, producer Bill Hinzman of Flesheaters and Night of the Living Dead; director Lloyd Kaufman of the Toxic Avenger films, Pot Zombies, and President of Troma Films; actor Gunnar Hansen of Texas Chainsaw Massacre; actor and director Mark Borchardt of American Movie and Coven; Erick Rodgers (Writer of NYPD Blue); best-selling mystery author Jamian Snow (Shrouded Insanity); John Hancock (“Hill Street Blues”, “The Twilight Zone”, & California Dreaming); actress and “Scream Queen” Debbie Rochon (Blood Relic, Vampyre Tales, & Lord of the Undead); Bobby Logan (Meatballs 4 & Repossessed), along with so many more.
As one of the premier film festivals worldwide, the Great Lakes International Film Festival held its inaugural festival in the fall of 2002, welcoming internationally acclaimed celebrities like Dirk Benedict, best known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and A-Team, along with Hollywood script guru Harri James who worked as script supervisor for blockbuster films and TV Shows as ER, Alias, Tremors II: Aftershocks, and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, to name only a few.
That same year, B.J. and the Bear & Up in Smoke producer, Otto Felix visited the festival along with the renowned Keith Carradine being presented with a lifetime achievement award for his dedication and contributions to indie film.
Since that time, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has had many films go on to greatness like “The Derby Stallion” that was released through Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Disney, and Director Joel Miller’s film “The Still Life” that received distribution through Warner Home Video after having been screened at the festival.
In 2004, the Great Lakes International Film Festival had the proud pleasure to present the North East United States Premiere of “SAW”, Lions Gate Films’ gripping psychological thriller starring Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, and Leigh Whannel.
The legendary Terry Moore was our special guest of honor and was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her amazing accomplishments in film over the past 60 years, while international recording superstar Dizzy Reed of Guns ‘N Roses performed before a capacity crowd at our Film Festival.
