Tradizionalmente, Queens World include un festival cinematografico annuale di più giorni, opportunità di proiezione per tutto l'anno per gli alumni QWFF, eventi speciali per riunire la comunità cinematografica Indie e un'iniziativa educativa per giovani e anziani. Come tutti gli altri, lo stiamo mantenendo fluido e rispondendo alle esigenze della comunità Indie Film.
Il 10° Festival Annuale è stato programmato per il 19 - 29 marzo 2020 presso il Museo dell'Immagine in Movimento e il Teatro Zukor di Kaufman-Astoria Studios. Quando siamo stati chiusi il 16 marzo, abbiamo cambiato rotta e aperto in tempo - online - con 191 film di 32 nazioni che hanno raccolto oltre 30.000 visualizzazioni.
Dopo il festival Queens World poduced Wednesday Nights @9, 19 trasmissioni settimanali in diretta che identificavano individui e organizzazioni come il nostro «eroe della settimana». In loro onore, abbiamo curato un blocco di film di registi che lavoravano su temi simili che si svolgevano da domenica a domenica su Vimeo. Il mercoledì sera abbiamo riunito gli eroi e i cineasti della settimana per discutere del loro lavoro. Abbiamo corso per 19 settimane e raccolto oltre 19.000 visualizzazioni.
In preparazione per il Q11, stiamo lavorando con le nostre sedi e i nostri partner per massimizzare tutte le risorse disponibili per il festival. Useremo la nostra programmazione tematica, raggruppando i film insieme per creare esperienze cinematografiche specifiche e ogni evento di proiezione sarà accompagnato da Filmmaker Q&As. I nostri piani per giugno 2021 includono sia un evento virtuale che un evento live con alcuni elementi globali molto interessanti che condivideremo con voi in un secondo momento.
Mentre questo è un momento difficile sul nostro pianeta, ora non è il momento di smettere di comunicare, di smettere di cercare ciò che ci guarirà, o di smettere di raccogliere. Queens World rimane focalizzato su idee, storie con cuore, film dal punto di vista e artisti che sfidano..
Quest'anno ci stiamo concentrando su HOPE come nostro tema.

Kan-Kan Media is pleased to announce the second edition of “A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” Shanghai.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” is a unique film event that aims to bring together Chinese film and art institutions, film professionals, students and audience in Shanghai and create a platform to exchange and promote the diversity of the world cinema. During 10 days the festival will present more than 200 short films selected from more than 60 countries around the world.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS” Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan-Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions like Minsheng Museum of Contemporary Arts in Shanghai (official host of the Festival) and Shanghai Film Art Academy. It arises from the need to create a platform for a dialogue and exchange between film professionals, students, film communities and audiences taking as a reference point Shanghai/China.
The previous edition of LWSF was a huge success with more than 2000 submissions, 200 films selected and 10 days of film screenings, workshops, talks, music concerts and dance performances attended by 1000+ film-lovers, among them film professionals, students, film communities and artists of other disciplines.
This year the focus will be on the discovery of emerging talents both internationally and in China in order to bring them into the public spotlight and offer them the opportunities for networking and a platform where ideas and work can be exchanged among a new generation of film creators worldwide.
The festival has two main categories: International Section and Chinese Section, accompanied by showcases of outstanding festivals from various countries, as well as workshops, master-classes and other special events.
All the films meeting the submission criteria will be considered for the International Short Film Competition Award for Best Short Film, Best Director, Audience and Outstanding Story Award.

Silk Road International Film Festival (SRFF) is held annually during the month of March in Dublin, Ireland.
The Silk Road Film Festival celebrates cinema, culture and art, presenting films from regions, which were once part of the historical network of the Silk Road ancient trade routes and focuses in particular on Asian, Arab, Persian, African, Mediterranean and European cinema. The Green Me GmbH is a Berlin based company and the organizer of the annual environmental film festival called the Green Me Global Festival for Sustainability.
