Das Hauptziel des BUDDHA International Film Festivals ist es, Filmemachern aus der ganzen Welt die Möglichkeit zu bieten, sich zu übertreffen und die beste Arbeit bei einer Feier des Kinos auszuwählen und zu präsentieren, sowie Filmemachern eine Plattform zu bieten, um sich unter anderen Profis und Filmkünstlern zu vernetzen .
TBIFF freut sich darauf, diese Beziehungen zu fördern und außergewöhnlichen Filmemachern dabei zu helfen, ihre Projekte vom globalen Publikum zu sehen. TBIFF vereint filmische, kulturelle und pädagogische mehr über inspirierende Ziele, indem es seine Filmentdeckungen präsentiert.

Das BUDDHA International Film Festival ist bestrebt, den Geist, die Leidenschaft und das Können der besten neuen Filmemacher aus der ganzen Welt für Publikum auf der ganzen Welt zu präsentieren.
Wir beziehen auch nicht nur die besten Beispiele für das klassische Filmemachen ein und unterstützen aktiv, sondern auch experimentelle Werke, die in neuen nicht-narrativen Formen den Weg gehen und in die Videokunst übergehen. Alle Filme werden überprüft, sobald sie eingereicht werden, und die besten in jeder Kategorie werden ausgewählt, um auf dem Festival zu sehen. Eine Jury aus Branchenexperten wird sich dann die Finalisten ansehen und die Gewinnauswahl auswählen.
Filmemacher, die eine Teilnahme planen, sollten das Filmfestival so schnell wie möglich benachrichtigen, damit ihre Namen im geplanten Programm an dem Veranstaltungsort aufgeführt werden, an dem ihr Film gezeigt wird.
Das 8. Kurzfilmfestival der „Côte Bleue“ (FCMCB) ist ein Festival für junge Filmregisseure bis 30 Jahre. Wir sind bestrebt, die Werke aufstrebender Filmemacher zu präsentieren und ihnen dabei zu helfen, ihre Shorts zu verteilen und zu fördern. Der Wettbewerb ist offen für junge Menschen aus aller Welt.
The Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg is characteristic for a unique atmosphere – a mixture of relaxed fun, tourism, rhythm and films. Hence the Festival quickly became the favourite of film workers and audience. Those who once feel the scent of the Mediterranean in this little town of film, shall always return to it. In front of the hall where the projections are going on there is always an interesting atmosphere, and after the projections there is always fun and dancing to the rhythms of urban music till late hours. The Festival is the initiator of the new relations within the world of culture, there is no elitism in it, no VIP boxes, no privileges. Within the last ten years we have succeeded to create an atmosphere in which no one feels alienated, inferior or less invited to be a part of the event.
MFF is the oldest festival of documentary film in the region considering that only documentary films compete here and the largest part of the program is based on documentaries. This is one of the rare festivals that has money prizes for the winners of the festival and in that way helps them to create new film projects. The School of Film Culture with relevant lecturers is being organized within the very MFF. A short documentary film is created every year at the MFF workshop, which we screen at the closure of the festival.
Besides the film projections there are also other programs offered at MFF. First of all the touristic ones, where a new branch, unknown untill now in Hercegovina, is developed – the cultural tourism. Within the tourism part there are the tours visiting the most interesting sites in Hercegovina which might be used as the locations for films shooting. Visits to the most significant touristic potentials of Hercegovina (Međugorje and Mostar) are also organized. We meet the guests of the festival to the exceptional archaeological localities and introduce them with the potentials of ethno tourism. In cooperation with the Tourist Board we get our guests acquainted with the Hercegovinian gastronomy – an extraordinary cuisine that has preserved the ancient taste and has not subdued to the modern culinary novelties, and belongs to a very healthy nutrition.
Mediterranean Film Festival lasts for six days, and all our guests, never mind from which part of the Mediterranean they might come, shall wish to come back again here.
The Festival de Cine Comprometido de Guadalajara (FESCIGU) celebrates its 23rd edition this year at its (exile) headquarters in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara, Spain). Over the years, we have strived to bring our audiences the best in the world of short films, with social, activist, or simply humanistic content. All genres are welcome, as long as they do not condone violence. FESCIGU is a pre-selection festival for the Goya Awards. This year, the central theme is PEACE, so short films that address this topic will be especially welcome.

Die EINLADUNG zur Teilnahme an der Auswahl der achten Ausgabe des AquaFilmFestivals ist ab dem 15. September 2023 geöffnet. Einsendeschluss für die Einreichung von Arbeiten ist der 11. April 2024.
Das Motto des Festivals lautet: „Durch Humanismus zu Frieden und Freundschaft“. Es findet alle zwei Jahre statt. Das Bulgarische Rote Kreuz ist der Hauptorganisator des Forums.
Es gewinnt als wirksames Instrument zur Verbreitung humanitärer und kultureller Werte durch das Kino zunehmend an Bedeutung. Das Festival wird traditionell von den ranghöchsten Führungskräften der internationalen Rotkreuzorganisationen besucht. Das Internationale Komitee vom Roten Kreuz, die Liga (heute Föderation) der Rotkreuz- und Rothalbmondgesellschaften, die Weltgesundheitsorganisation, die UNESCO, SIDALC, der Verband der Filmproduzenten, der Verband der Filmverleiher, die Internationale Organisation der Filmkritiker, nationale Kinematographien und Filmproduktionshäuser.
Our festival theme is the Emerging Power of Media for Social Justice, in which we will showcase films that provoke and inspire social change.
Last year, some major topics in films both in the documentary and narrative category included agriculture, the environment on a global scale, homelessness, sexual abuse and refugees in different parts of the world, to name a few.
Previous speakers and talent have included the likes of Jaws Cinematographer, Bill Butler; Mind and Media's Aldo Bello and DC Stunts Coalition's Dylan Hintz among others.
We will showcase short documentaries and narratives as well as provide attendees with informative panel discussions and fun networking events.

Held annually at Universitat Politècnica de València and different locations in the beautiful city of Valencia (Spain), the annual Screendance Meeting is a conference that includes academic papers, artist presentations and screenings. Its goals include enhancing the academic study of video-dance, fostering artistic creation of video-dance by creating a meeting point for the different creative participants, and disseminate the knowledge and appreciation of video-dance among the students and general public.
For the 4th Meeting (2017) we introduce these features:
• The field of study is open to video-dance, video-performance and video-art that uses corporal expression or choreographic techniques.
• An important focus will be given to the presentation of video-dance works by their authors, where selected participants will show and present their works and discuss them with the audience.
CARTON ist ein internationales Animationsfilmfestival, dessen Hauptziel es ist, Animatoren, Regisseure, Produzenten, Karikaturisten, Karikaturisten und die gesamte Community zusammenzubringen, um die Welt der Animation als Kommunikations- und Ausdrucksmittel für künstlerische, technische und politische Ideen zu sehen, zu genießen und zu fördern.
Das Festival besteht aus einer wettbewerbsorientierten Sektion von animierten Kurzfilmen. Nach einer Vorauswahl durch das Organisationskomitee wird das Material von einer renommierten Jury bewertet, die sich von Jahr zu Jahr ändert. Seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 2011 haben unter anderem Juan Pablo Zaramella, Tomas Welss, María Verónica Ramirez, Raúl Manrupe, Irene Blei, Salvador Sanz und Ayar Blasco die Carton-Jury bestanden.
Der Wettbewerbsbereich ist in die folgenden Kategorien unterteilt: Fiktion/Erzählung, Experimentell/Nicht-Erzählung, Videoclip, Serien, Mikro-Kurzfilme und Trainingsworkshops.
Neben dem Wettbewerb wird das Carton Festival durch Vorträge, Videokonferenzen, Workshops, Spielfilmvorführungen und eine Comicmesse abgerundet.

This space reserved exclusively for women offers the opportunity to share experiences, enrich understanding and explore the various aspects of lesbian and feminist culture through screenings, debates, conferences, expos, workshops, stands, performances, etc.

Das Globale Internationale Dokumentarfilmfestival - Bogotá lädt Dokumentarfilmer und audiovisuelle Produzenten ein, Vorschläge einzureichen, die sich mit dem Kampf gegen den Faschismus befassen.
Über das Festival
Globale—Critical and Emancipatory Perspectives ist ein gemeinnütziges und nicht wettbewerbsorientiertes Festival, das Dokumentarfilme zu politischen und sozialen Themen ausstellt. Es wurde 2003 in Berlin gegründet und später in Warschau, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro und Bogota wiederholt, wo es seit 2011 stattfindet.
Ziel ist es, Szenarien der Denunziation, des Dialogs, der Sensibilisierung und der Analyse der Realität zu entwickeln, die auf den für jede Version festgelegten Themen basieren. Daher wird vorgeschlagen, etablierte kulturelle, soziale und wirtschaftliche Modelle zu transformieren. Für sie greifen wir auf den Dokumentarfilm ohne eine Hierarchie von Formaten, Medien, Qualitäten oder akademischen oder industriellen Validierungen zurück.
