Seit 2013 bietet das International Human Rights Film Festival — Colombia dem Publikum ein audiovisuelles, kulturelles und akademisches Programm, das zur Publikumsentwicklung, zur Stärkung der Film- und Kulturindustrie, zur Schaffung von Räumen für den Dialog über das Leben, zur Versöhnung, zur Förderung und Verteidigung der Menschenrechte und zur Entwicklung von Ideen für den Frieden beiträgt.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

The festival is free of charge and intended for all children from primary and secondary schools who devote their free time to educating themselves in the arts of films or are involved in film clubs.
At the festival you can:

- take part in free morning film workshops led by renowned experts and
- watch films from your peers

Der Short Film Slam ist ein zweimonatlicher Wettbewerb von The Madlab Post, der sich darauf konzentriert, aufstrebenden und etablierten Filmemachern eine Plattform zu bieten, um ihre Arbeit zu präsentieren. In jeder Runde wird eine Auswahl von bis zu zwölf Kurzfilmen für lokales Publikum gezeigt, das eine Stimme für ihren Lieblingsfilm abgeben kann. Der am höchsten bewertete Film bei Live-Vorführungen wird im folgenden Monat zum „Movie of the Month“ erklärt. Die am höchsten bewerteten „Konkurrenz“ -Filme aus jedem Live- und Online-Vorführraum werden in die Endrunde voranschreiten. Alle Finalisten können während der Finalrunde und Feierlichkeiten vor der Vorführung der shnit Cinemas 2022 in Philadelphia um ein Preisgeld von insgesamt 1.000 US-Dollar konkurrieren.
