El festival muestra largometrajes de ficción, largometrajes documentales, cortos de ficción, cortos documentales, y videos musicales, así como películas experimentales y de animación, en competencia y fuera de competencia. El evento es completado por repertorio y presentaciones especiales. La 22a edición del Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF22) se llevó a cabo del 1 al 5 de mayo de 2019 en Austin, Texas. Con más de 3,000 miembros de la audiencia presentes para muestras y eventos, el festival mostró 114 obras. La selección de películas del CLAIFF22 representó la participación de 25 países en producción o co-producción de las películas; incluyendo Alemania, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brasil, Canadá, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, España, Estados Unidos, Francia, Jordán, Katar, México, los Países Bajos, Perú, Portugal, Reino Unido, República Árabe Siria, República Dominicana, Uruguay y Venezuela.
A través de los últimos 22 años, Cine Las Americas ha presentado más de 2,600 películas en Austin y en varias presentaciones a través del estado de Texas, convirtiéndose en una de las organizaciones latinas más importantes del país. Cine Las Americas sigue siendo una organización orientada a su comunidad, ofreciendo diversas oportunidades culturales, educativas, de desarrollo profesional y de entretenimiento. Today it is difficult to find a person who does not take pictures. Photography has become available to everyone, and this has radically changed the way that photographs are represented. And this, in turn, changes its meaning. The thousands of static shots that we see every day nowadays convey the dynamics of our lives better than any other medium.
Our festival is dedicated to the rare genre of the photomontage, which is based on this aspect of the perception of photography and the variety of editing options, and our program shows vivid examples of film art created without expensive equipment and millions of budgets. And, as always happens with real art, these works are not forgotten immediately after the last credits, but remain with us for a long time.

Cine en Grande nace en el año 2014 con el propósito de acercar la cinematografía argentina a la isla de Tierra del Fuego, generar encuentros entre profesionales y fomentar la industria audiovisual en la región.

El Festival da preferencia a las películas centradas en la búsqueda de la identidad nacional y cultural en el mundo contemporáneo. También se presta atención a los casos de los pueblos indígenas y de los pueblos de la familia turca. El festival tiene lugar en un lugar rodeado de naturaleza única y refleja la diversidad cultural de Yakutia. La ciudad de Yakutsk acogerá el 6º Festival Internacional de Cine de Yakutsk del 27 al 31 de marzo de 2019. India es un país en rápido desarrollo en el mundo con sus múltiples culturas, tradiciones y espiritualidad. U.P. (Uttar Pradesh) es el estado más grande del país de la India. Nosotros, el «FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL UP» vamos a presentar el arte, la cultura, las tradiciones y los lugares de interés turístico en U.P. a la comunidad mundial a través de la organización de un Festival Internacional de Cine de 3 días en Varanasi (Kashi).
Varias personas tienen dedicación y pasión por producir largometrajes y cortometrajes, pero debido a la escasez de fondos y recursos, no pueden encontrar ninguna plataforma para exhibir sus largometrajes y cortometrajes. Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. El XXV certamen de cortometrajes del AVILÉS ACCIÓN FILM FESTIVAL se celebrará entre el 10 y el 17 de octubre de 2026.
Podrán concurrir al certamen todas las personas mayores de 16 años, nacidas en España o con tarjeta de residencia en dicho país.

The Mile High Horror Film Festival is now open for submissions!
The MHHFF is recognized as one of the top 5 coolest horror/sci-fi film festivals in the world by MovieMaker Magazine. It returns to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Littleton, CO May 7-10, 2020.
The MHHFF showcases the very best genre films from around the world. During our next festival, we will be celebrating our 10-year birthdate in an epic celebration of the horror genre.
