NEFILTRAVANAE KINO is an exploration of aestheticization and commodification in art. The aim of the festival is to expose the complexity, manysidedness, and variety of filmmaking.
Originally the festival was held in Belarus, but because of political repression and publicly stated anti-war stance, screenings and events can be held in different countries. First of all Poland, Lithuania, and Georgia.

The concept of the NEFILTRAVANAE KINO (Unfiltered Cinema):
ALIENATION PROBLEM
We live in a world of malls and cinema multiplexes. We see that indie cinema and non-commodity art go to the periphery of public attention. Primitive attractions replace the cinematography. The escape audience is alienated behind the big screen. So modern mainstream cinema is part of a manipulating tool that leads to the society of alienation. Thus the tendency is that indie cinema becomes more unreadable for the wide audience. We should understand the context of the filmmaker to understand the independent cinema. That is why the NEFILTRAVANAE KINO concept implies the physical presence of filmmakers.
FILM SELECTION PROBLEM
Filmmakers shoot millions of movies. And thousands of short film festivals organize screenings all over the world every year. On average, several thousand films are submitted to a film festival. So various good films can be neglected for whatever reason. Often selecting probability is like winning a lottery. As a result, filmmakers are left with no feedback. It is a paradox that no one can hear you in the age of the Internet! The mainstream culture prefers attractions and casual viewing.
Also, this idea is based on the film selection problem. Perhaps it’s no surprise one person, i.e. programme director at best, or even students of film schools make a preliminary decision to select a movie. Сoncordance of judges or previewers is more seldom thing than the difference of background, tastes. So selection or judging can be one-sided or perfunctory. It is not bad as the programme director has a good taste and aesthetic sensitivity, of course. But we’ve discovered another conception of “unfiltered cinema”. We matched it against “the best of the best” way. This way aids to perceive cinematic idiom without the dictate of art-curators.
CELEBRATION OF INDIE CINEMA
So the Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival tries to avoid “the best of the best” way but it does not ignore it completely, sure. The festival selects fiction, animation, documentary, experimental and virtual reality sections. A jury awards the best film in every section. The festival holds the screenings at cinema theatres, the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, and art-spaces.
Our aim is to gather people in art, to have a dialogue to be happy with smart communication. Cinema is art but not sport. The key point of our project is to establish communication between the filmmaker and the audience.

The sample of short films of "La Cuna" is an event that takes place in the teahouse "La Cuna" of Elche (Alicante), Spain, on December 15th, 2019. Is admitted any genre of short film, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

We accept films, that deal with themes of disability or Deaf culture, or about people who identify as 'disabled', 'people with a disability', or use terms like 'handicapped', 'functional diversity', or -abled'. All the films need to be SUBTITLED IN FRENCH IN WHITE COLOR and in second line in English with orange color for them to be accepted on competition.
Our jury and the board of organisation is composed by valid and handicap persons.
Recognizing that short film is a unique and valuable art form, the Dam Short Film Festival aims to seek out original, unusual, and entertaining short films from around the world and make them available to the general public via the annual Dam Short Film Festival.
The 16th Annual Dam Short Film Festival will be held February 13-16, 2020, in beautiful and historic Boulder City, Nevada, and will feature 120+ short films of varied style, subject, and origin.
Submission categories include Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Animation, Sci-Fi/Horror, Music Video, Student, and Nevada Filmmaker. Films from all years are invited to submit and there is no premiere requirement.

SANFICI is a space to generate meetings at different levels, with an overcoming and innovative will. The Cultural Association CinemìCinemà, based in Arezzo (Tuscany, Italy), has been running an International Short Film Festival for Italian and international film-makers since 2009. The festival was originally created to encourage the use of the English language and videos for educational purposes for Italian high schools and it has evolved throughout the years opening its audience to international video-makers without loosing its main aim: promoting cinema amongst the youngest generations, and not only, with a particular attention to inter-cultural dialogue. The 12th edition of Cinemìcinemà International Short Film Festival will take place online on www.cinemicinema.it the 1st and 2nd October 2021; finalist films will be displayed on our website and our audience will have access to them through a private link to our Youtube channel for a month; the Festival Closing Ceremony will be held on Saturday 2 October 2021.
Festival Categories
There is no theme for 12th edition. The two categories are:
-Short Films
-Animation Short Films
Each category is divided into two sections according to the author’s age:
-UNDER 30 (years old)
-OVER 30 (years old).
One or more short films can be submitted, produced after 1st January 2018 and no longer than 15 minutes including credits (VLC. MPG4. DVD).
Submission Guidelines
Short films can be submitted between 15th March 2021 and 7th June 2021.
They can be submitted through Festhome platform.
Season deadlines and fees to be paid for each submitted piece of work:

For the citizens of those internationally sanctioned or embargoed countries who are interested to submit their video materials, CinemìCinemà Cultural Association reserves the right to provide for exceptions. They should contact the Festival staff for details.
All non English films must be subtitled in English.
Documentaries, videoclips, video art films and video Ads are not admitted.
The ones submitted after 7th June 2021 will for no reason be accepted.
The festival committee can anticipate the submission deadline in case of unforeseeable circumstances.

Final Girls Berlin Film Festival showcases horror cinema that’s directed, written, or produced by women*. We are holding the sixth edition of FGBFF from February 3-6 2022 in Berlin. Traditionally, Queens World includes a well-attended multi-day annual film festival, year-round screening opportunities for QWFF alumni, special events to bring the Indie film community together and an educational initiative for youth and seniors. Just like everyone else, we are keeping it fluid and responding to the needs of the Indie Film community.
The 10th Annual Fest was scheduled to March 19 - 29, 2020 at the Museum of Moving Image and the Zukor Theater at Kaufman-Astoria Studios. When we were closed on March 16, we changed course and opened on time - online - with 191 films from 32 nations which garnered over 30,000 views.
After the festival Queens World poduced Wednesday Nights @9, 19 live weekly broadcasts that identified individuals and organizations as our 'Hero of the Week'. In their honor, we curated a block of films by filmmakers working in similar themes which ran from Sunday to Sunday on Vimeo. On Wednesday nights we gathered the Heroes and the Filmmakers of the Week to discuss their work. We ran for 19 weeks and gathered over 19,000 views.
In preparation for Q11, we are working with our venues and our partners to maximize all available resources for the festival. We will use our signature thematic programming, grouping films together to create specific cinematic experiences and each screening event will be accompanied by Filmmaker Q&As. Our plans for June 2021 include both a virtual and a live event with some very exciting global elements that we will share with you at a later date.
While this is a tough time on our planet, now is not the time to stop communicating, to stop looking for what will heal us, or to stop gathering. Queens World remains focused on ideas, stories with heart, films with a point of view and artists who challenge..
