Revelation started life in 1997 as an ‘underground’ event in the back room basement of the Greenwich Club, at the time Perth’s smoothest jazz and music venue. All works were screened purely on 16mm film and the festival also featured live music, poetry and guest presentations. Revelation was designed to showcase a range of unique and progressive short, feature, documentary, archival and animated works which were at the forefront of contemporary underground filmmaking, at the same time contextualising these works through a variety of curated archival programs highlighting pivotal points in independent filmmaking.
Rapidly outgrowing the intimate surrounds of the Greenwich Club, Revelation now spans venues across Perth and Fremantle and features some of the most acclaimed films from the international film festival scene and includes gallery and installation works, live performances, an academic conference and a unique seminar and masterclass series. Revelation’s market penetration is today at its most comprehensive ever, engaging new local, national and international audiences.
More than 500 films are submitted each year for selection from local and international filmmakers, and the event’s screen conference component is fast becoming a huge draw for the world’s filmmaking community.
Revelation was invited to present the public screening component of the Australian International Documentary Conference as part of the Perth International Arts Festival in 2000 and 2001 and since then has seen itself as a stand-alone event.
The festival’s screen conference is expected to become an even larger draw for Australian and international filmmakers.

The Street Art Movie Fest was created as part of the Grenoble Street Art Fest, one of the largest festivals dedicated to street art since 2015. The Street Art Movie Fest is intended to all producers who deal with street art in every kind of formats, from feature films to web formats such as animated gif. In partnership with the Cinematheque of Grenoble (CNC Labelled), it allowed us to build up an archived collection of the best audiovisual documents, each time translated and subtitled for works in a foreign language. BuSho (Budapest Short) was established in the autumn of 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers and the first event successfully ran its course the following year. The festival became an international breakthrough in an exceptionally short period of time. We had plenty of festival screenings, selections of film academies, conferences, exhibitions, film-, and all-art workshops in the program. Our main target group is the generation of developing young filmmakers but we are very delighted at every entry. This film celebration takes place in Budapest in the late summer of 2019.

CONSTRUIR CINE: INTERNATIONAL LABOR FILM FESTIVAL 2024 EDITION - OFFICIAL COMPETITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Construir Cine is the only International Labor Film Festival in Argentina. Its next edition will take place in Buenos Aires in May 2024, in a hybrid mode (face-to-face and online).
Construir Cine celebrates national and international cinema aiming to recognize and support filmmakers and to improve knowledge, accessibility, and understanding of socio-labor issues among a wide and diverse public.
Construir Cine is an event organized by UOCRA Foundation for the Education of Construction Workers’ TV channel, —hereinafter, the Organizer, with support from the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and its on-demand platform CINE.AR, and sponsored by UOCRA CULTURA and Construyendo Arte. This festival is part of the Global Labor Film Festival, an organization that brings together labor film festivals from around the world, and belongs to “RAFMA”: Argentine Network of Audiovisual Festivals and Exhibitions.
“CONSTRUIR CINE” is a groundbreaking proposal aimed at offering quality entertainment with social consciousness. A sensitive and insightful view of the world of work and labor.
The International Gay, Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Lima - the OutfestPerú - opens its call for the XXI edition and films of all nationalities whose theme is LGBTIQ, and which are eligible for the various sections of the festival can participate in it: Feature films ( Official Section and International Panorama), Short Films Section either Documentary or Fiction and Video Art (Official and Panorama). The works must not have been exhibited in commercial theaters, broadcast on TV or be available to the public on the Internet or other windows in Peruvian territory prior to the celebration of the festival and must have copyright after 2023. Feature films and short films must preferably be unpublished in Peru, although this is not exclusive but will be valued very positively. OutfestPerú reserves the right to include films that do not meet these conditions in the programming, but out of competition.
