“Music & Film” is Braunschweig's second focal point, drawing attention to the sound of the moving images.

This International Dance Film Festival is held in October from 2 to 11 in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
It takes place within the DanzaTTack program, a festival that includes live dance, workshops, urban dances, discussion forums, professional meetings and other activities

The projections are made in different municipalities of the island for a week. Prizes are revealed on the last day.
The aim of the festival is to promote the culture and creativity of independent filmmakers, giving them the possibility to contribute socially with what they know how to do, cinema, and deliver it free of charge to the people. Directed by Women Spain is a film viewing celebration of films directed by women in Spain.
Our celebration is part of the International movement Directed by Women, that for the past 9 years has been dedicated to promote and give visibility to films directed by Women.
Cineteca of Madrid and the CICUS of Seville are hosting the tenth edition with a complete program of short film sessions, feature films, unseen documentaries, sessions for young audiences and children. Filmmakers will be invited to present their pieces to the public and to participate in a Q&A.
There will also be debates, professional gatherings, workshops and a lot of celebration!

The South African HorrorFest is the first (and close on only) event of its kind on the continent, bringing an exciting array of feature films and short films from around the world to the audience, who wouldn't get to see these indie productions in a cinema otherwise. 2023 is our 19th edition!
After the pandemic disaster the festival added an on-line with selected screenings also in cinema. The streaming portion actually served as a plus in that this expanded the scope to reach more viewers in further flung areas of South Africa, and will remain a part of the festival for the foreseeable future.
All movie mediums and styles are accepted, as long as it contains elements of Horror / Chiller / Terror / Monsters etc.
For instance, an animated Sci-Fi comedy with monsters will be accepted.
Due to the indie nature of the event, unfortunately screening fees cannot be offered
The Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival is organised by Les Films du Spectre, a non-profit making association dedicated to genre cinema, which includes fantasy, horror, science-fiction and thrillers.
In addition to the Festival’s international prizes, as a member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation, it also awards the Silver Méliès for the best European fantastic film.

Backed by the prestigious University of Zulia, we are the longest-running short film festival in Venezuela, organised by the Cine Club Universitario de Maracaibo since 1981, in turn the first to be established in the country, in 1962, prior to the creation of the National Film Archive of Venezuela (1966).
The name of the festival was chosen because of the historical importance of the pioneer Manuel Trujillo Durán for the development of the production and diffusion of cinema in Venezuela, who only 13 months after the projections made by the Lumière brothers in Paris in December 1895, made possible the exhibition on 28 January 1897 at the Baralt Theatre in Maracaibo, of two of his films, an event recognised as the first cinematographic projections in the country.
HISTORY:
The origins of the FMTFD date back to the project drawn up by the professors of the University of Zulia: Gabriel Arriechi, Fernando Perdomo and Ricardo Ball, who with the unconditional support of Sergio Antillano, Rosa María Salom and Rafael Araujo organised the first edition, which took place from 28 to 31 January 1981 in various cultural spaces in Maracaibo.

Since its 15th edition in 2020, the festival has opened its doors to works and filmmakers from all over the world.

All best films that were selected for the vscreening, will be shown on the big screen during the solemn final ceremony on February 01-02, 2025 in Moscow, Russia and will be able to struggle for the main prize and the title of the "Best Esoteric film". As well as for the oteric in the standalone nominations.

International Mountain Film Festival Ushuaia SHH... is a cultural and educative event born in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. We aim to contribute to a culture of care for nature and sustainable development of human society, specially in mountain environments. Cortomontagna prize is exclusively dedicated to short films.
The prize’s main theme is Mountain life, told and documented through a video that expresses the author's point of view and interpretation.
Possible takes on the main theme can range from the narration of sporting activities (skiing, climbing, hiking - for example), to naturalistic-environmental themes, to facts and life stories of communities or mountain territories.
