The "Festival Cortos para Tiempos largos" is a proposal for the training, creation and circulation of audiovisual content carried out by young Colombians since 2020 with a clear purpose, to connect people and stories. The festival is not looking for winners, it is conceived as a space for the dissemination and visibility of audiovisual products, carried out for academic and non-profit purposes, where all those who wish to be part of a great story can participate.

We’re Women Directors Film Carnival, Initiative taken by well experienced and well connected Media Professionals with aim to provide a platform for Women Directors, Producers, Editors, Writers and Cinema Lovers to share their works. We give a space for women in all areas of filmmaking to share their stories, experiences, and expertise. As we strongly believes that Media in our society can be reshaped to have a stronger positive impact on our society, If we educate and empower more Women to work in the medium, take part and active involvement in ownership of the industry, and educate the people on these issues. We at Women Director Film Carnival wants to shine a light on Women being overlooked for jobs with the lack of equal opportunity that is given in the Film and Television industry and create conversations and opportunities for Women to develop an industry that has equal opportunity.

This three-day extravaganza, consisting of Indoor and Outdoor red carpet film screenings, fashion shows, workshops, and of course Food Court. It's a celebration of women and all who love women. Films and Screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of film. Montevideo Fantastic Film Festival is the first Uruguayan festival dedicated to promoting national and international film productions related to horror, fantasy and science fiction genres. Its objective is to annually present independent and ultra-independent creations that are often considered "minor", and that hardly access commercial and cultural circuits.
It has sections related to short and long feature films in competition, as well as exhibitions, tributes to different figures of the genre, lectures presented by specialists, and promotion of different cultural activities that occur in the country.

LGBT Film Festival and Screenplay Competition.
We are looking for FILMS and SCREENPLAYS with an LGBT theme to be part of the New Renaissance Film Festival, which will take place in Amsterdam, next April 2021.
THE NEW RENAISSANCE
The spacious cinema LAB111 will again be the home of the New Renaissance Film Festival (NRFF) for its fifth edition on 9-11 April 2021.
This friendly arthouse festival which is based in London, and was called “One of the UK’s top film festivals” (London METRO, O1.08.16, has premiered and screened films that went on to win an Oscar (http://newrenaissancefilmfest.com/nrff-interviews-oscar-2018-winners-the-silent-child), or received a major distribution deal.
Despite its small size, there are each year many gems to be found among the many short and feature films, and many filmmakers and actors are traditionally present and a lot of networking takes place.
Film is a unique medium, and NRFF’s mission is to support and champion inspiring, independent artists and storytellers. This includes experimental work, emotional drama, SF films and an exciting variety of LGBT+ shorts and features. The festival is also proud that it seems to attract a high number of female directors.

NRFF Amsterdam has several categories for International, Benelux and LGBT filmmakers. We especially love quality dramas with strong emotional themes, but we accept ALL genres.
We will screen around 100 films in two cinemas over the course of four days. This event includes a screenwriting competition, professional MASTER CLASSES by industry professionals, Filmmaker Q&A's, Panel Discussions, a fun COCKTAIL HOUR and AWARDS CEREMONY. The festival will be open to the public and ticket sales will be announced on the website in due course.

Lisbon 1st Timers is opening call to all debut filmmakers. The winners of all five categories will be screened in our main event: an outdoor film night right at the heart of Lisbon, in July 2021.
The best film winner will deserve the privilege of being screened together with a well established portuguese director's work. The two film screening will open a live debate about the two different stages of life and career.
This cultural proposal takes place within the framework of the commemoration of a new anniversary of Punta del Este, celebrating the best independent cinema from around the world. It began as a Mercosur cinema and grew to become an international festival. Film Maudit 2.0 (www.filmmaudit.org) is a showcase and celebration of new outré, unusual and startling films. Now approaching its 5th edition, the fest is inspired by legendary artist Jean Cocteau’s festival, Le Film Maudit, which celebrated a group of films that were criminally overlooked and neglected at the time.

Turin Underground Distribution is born.
For its 12th edition, the festival event will last 12 days, allowing more time for in-depth discussions with the authors. TUC12 will take place in a very important location for the Turin "Cinema" universe, located in the heart of the city, at the wonderful Cinema Baretti.
The 12th Torino Underground Cinefest, taking place from September 26th to October 7th, will continue this year's partnership with Sooner.de, aiming to increase the distribution of independent films it receives each year.

Harrogate Film Festival provides a forum for young and established filmmakers to offer short films in competition. Submissions are welcomed from filmmakers based anywhere in the world. The only exclusions are for films funded by national film studio and television companies or affiliated organisations. The purposes of the festival are:
to acquaint cinema lovers around the globe with the world's best short films in "action", "adventure", "comedy", "drama", "fantasy", "magic", "supernatural", "horror", "mystery", "psychological", "romance" and "sci-fi" genre.
to discover talented anime films directors and open them to the world.
The festival is a global screening of the best anime shorts. Recently, the festival have distributor and cinema theatre partners in such countries as: UK, Poland, Spain, Mexico, Latvia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Africa, Canada, etc.
Firstly, the films are pre-watched by the selection committee members.
Secondly, after the best short films are selected, the right-holders of the films are proposed to take part in the World tour of the festival.
Finally, the moviegoers from different countries can vote for the best movie - Best Anime Short.
The festival requires preview screeners of films to be submitted online (with private Youtube or Vimeo links ONLY). We do not accept physical submissions, i.e. DVDs.
