On a Friday, as every Friday to the half day in the center of Medellin, Teresita goes out of his office to go to the graft, in the porch of the Church of the Candelaria, to only three stables of his office. During this displacement, and as if it was a question of a movie of police investigation or of black cinema, Teresita tells us the history that led her to turning into the founder and mother, of the Madres de la Candelaria.

In the year 1998, his life gives a draft of 180 degrees. Christian Camilo, his son, goes of walk to Bogota and does not return nevermore. The life of this mother, dedicated to the work and to the care of the family crumbles. You ask like: why? Where is it? That happened? They have been the only words that Teresita has repeated himself obsessively for years. Only after many tracks and the contact that it establishes with prisoners and demobilized belonging to armed illegal groups, finally it loses the hopes to find Christian alive.

Nevertheless, the search of the truth and the way towards her, they do that this personage suffers a radical transformation. Teresita leaves behind the life that up to this moment had gone, of mother and wife and it joins, as an assiduous activist, to the marches against the kidnapping and the disappearance forced in Colombia. From 1999 it fights, next to hundreds of women who claim publicly his desparecidos, children, daughters, grandsons, spouses. Women and mothers who demand the truth, a truth.

The Mother of the Mothers, portrays a mother, hundreds of mothers, crossed by the loss of his children and dear beings.
