Pan Gyul is a coming-of-age story set on the lush island of Nevis. Roshan, a spirited young girl, longs to connect with her father, a celebrated steel pan musician whose bond with her older brothers is forged through music. Determined to learn the instrument herself, Roshan faces resistance from her mother and the expectations of a culture where pan has traditionally been dominated by men. As she struggles to find her rhythm and prove her talent, Roshan embarks on a journey of courage, self-discovery, and perseverance. Through music, she seeks not only a place on the stage, but also a deeper connection with her family.
