SCREENPLAY COMPETITION
DVIFF invites submissions for written works across all genres:

• Short Screenplays
• Teleplays
Our top screenplay honor, the Rhodium Award, comes with real momentum: the winning script or novel goes directly to Polaris Pictures — a film finance company that does not accept unsolicited material — for review. The Rhodium winner also receives complimentary Professional Coverage: our proprietary coverage system combining AI-driven analysis with a human final pass, scored across ten craft and market elements plus narrative comments and specific recommendations for improvement. That's a $175 service at wrpn.tv/script-coverage, included at no cost for the Rhodium winner.
Platinum winners receive a complimentary Judge's Report — a full panel evaluation across six weighted categories (Concept & Originality, Structure & Pacing, Character, Dialogue, Theme & Emotional Impact, Format & Craft), a $50 value, free with the Platinum prize. Writers at every other tier can order either service at wrpn.tv/script-coverage.
Rhodium, Platinum, and Gold winners are all featured on the WRPN.tv Screenwriters Wall of Fame. Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention scripts earn laurel recognition.

THE FEEDBACK COMMITMENT
DVIFF believes documentary work deserves real critique, not silence.
For Films: If your documentary isn't selected, you'll get a written explanation of why — not just a form rejection — plus a free resubmission for the next competition once you've addressed what we flagged.
For Screenplays & Novels: The same applies to scripts and manuscripts: a specific explanation of what held your submission back, with a free resubmission window of 30 days after the final deadline, or into the following season.
Most festivals just say no. DVIFF tells you why, and gives you a second shot.
INDEPENDENT EVALUATION SYSTEM
Every DVIFF submission is judged entirely on its own terms. There's no bracket and no head-to-head comparison — each documentary or script is scored against a fixed set of performance criteria, not against whatever else happens to be in the queue that week. When a judge is reviewing your work, your work is the only thing being reviewed.

Best of Festival winners screen at our Live Screening Event at the Rehoboth Beach Cinema Art Theater, where real audience reactions give distributors something more useful than a synopsis.
Through the WRPN.tv Entertainment Network, award-winning documentaries can also reach viewers in 80+ countries — an audience most independent documentary filmmakers would otherwise have no way to reach.
