“Bye Nona” portrays a day in the life of a grandmother awaiting the visit of her grandchildren. From dawn, the silence of the house reveals her quiet routine —the kettle, the birds, the soft light through the window.

When the music begins, everything shifts: the ordinary turns into celebration. Laughter, shared mates, and familiar gestures fill the home once more, as if time had paused.

But when the music fades and the door finally closes, silence returns. “Chao Nona” becomes a delicate reflection on time, distance, and the bittersweet rhythm of family love —the joy of reunion and the calm that follows once everyone has gone.
