Augusto and Santino, two budding civil servants, are on the cusp of decadence. Both in their lives and in the political career they are pursuing, they are mired in total failure. This has led them to an existence full of uneasiness that sinks them deeper and deeper into a soporific boredom that nourishes the mediocre coexistence they live every day. They both frequent a place called The Chicago Club, where sordidness invades the atmosphere and time stands still, witnessing human decadence to the fullest. Anton, an unscrupulous man, collaborates with Augusto and Santino, and helps them fulfill the fantasies that both wish to carry out night after night: «to achieve absolute power» or «to remember past loves», among other delusions. One night, the stakes between Anton, Santino and Augusto grow along with the game they take to the limit. The characters get lost in their ravings, the affronts become real, as well as the pain, the anguish, the hate and their obsessions, all this in a single night inhabited by tragedy: the excitement hits bottom and death appears, becoming an ally of power. Where does reality begin and where does fantasy end? In one single night, we will know the limits of desire of these three characters who inhabit a tiny hermetic universe full of atrocious desires.
