Every day for Anya begins and ends in the same way – she returns from a grueling job to an apartment where the only "greeting" is the empty bottles on the kitchen table. Her mother, long lost in an alcoholic oblivion, sleeps heavily, leaving her daughter alone with the growing emptiness.
Anya tries to find an outlet – at a party with friends. From time to time, someone would throw a question in her direction:
"Are you okay?" – and without waiting for an answer, they would disappear into the noise of the party.
She stood under a streetlight, looking at the shadows on the pavement, and thought it was strange that the world continued to make noise when someone's life had come to an end.
In a desperate attempt to end her pain, Anya decides to take the irreversible step. However, fate intervenes when Katya unexpectedly catches her at a critical moment.
After work, Anya is left alone with her demons. She carefully plans to make sure this time is the right one. In an apartment where the air is filled with the smell of alcohol and hopelessness, she decides to carry out a long-planned plan.
