Hesam Sharifi was born in January 1989. He was fascinated by art from childhood and he started painting figurative, expressionistic, surrealistic pictures. This passion led Hesam to the conservatory and by studying illustration he learned graphic and digital painting. He continued his way by filmmaking and was skilled in directing and editing. Hesam Sharifi has succeeded as an independent filmmaker, producer, and editor in making short films and documentaries. Among them, the following films can be maintained "New Vocal", " Okr", " Twist ", " Southern Song", "Stone, History, Human", "The story is over", "SMS" and "Controversy". However, Hesam Sharifi never stopped painting and during these years, he was able to master digital art and posing as a storyboard, shooting board, character and layout designer, and also a cartoonist. He also is in charge of various painting techniques including pencil, pastel, watercolor, paints and oil, and so on. He started working as a painting teacher in 2002 and is still engaged. Hesam Sharifi is the winner of the "Different Look" section at the Fajr International Festival and his painting was transferred to Tehran Martyrs Museum. In addition to painting and filmmaking, which is his main concern in art, Hesam Sharifi has also been involved in sculpture and electronic guitar performances.
