Pedregalejo, Málaga 1984.

Formado en guión por la Ecam (Escuela de
Cinematografía de la comunidad de Madrid), en
montaje por la Eima (Escuela Internacional de Medios
Audiovisuales) , l i c e n c i a d o e n D i r e c c i ó n
Cinematográfica por la Escac (Escuela Superior de
Cine y Audiovisual de Cataluña), con quien también
realiza un Máster en desarrollo integral de proyectos
Audiovisuales y el Máster Oficial en Cinematografía.
Como realizador cuenta con multitud de proyectos, entre los que destacan el
cortometraje “Mi Ojo Derecho” (2012), ganador de Seattle o Medina del Campo y
que cuenta en su palmarés con más de 137 premios internacionales y 344
selecciones en festivales de todo el mundo. El largometraje colectivo “Puzzled Love”
(2011) en el que participa como coordinador y director y guionista del fragmento
“Noviembre”, participando en el Festival de San Sebastián, el de Guadalajara o el de
Nantes. También da voz al personaje de "El Canijo" en la tercera temporada de la
serie de animación Arros Covat. En 2018 estrena en el Festival de Málaga el
largometraje experimental “Desaparecer” en el que dirige y actúa. Ese mismo año
filma su primera obra de no ficción: el documental “Rumbo al Sol de la Amazonía”
rodado en Ecuador.

Su experiencia docente incluye 6 años como profesor en la Escac en las
asignaturas Recursos sonoros para la dirección, dirección de actores y como tutor
de proyectos. Continúa con el tutelaje de proyectos final de carrera en el Incine
(Tecnológico Universitario de Cine y Actuación, Ecuador) en 2018. Además ha impartido
en otros países: Un curso monográfico “Intención y Dirección” en el Instituto Goethe
de El Cairo (Egipto, 2015), o el programa “Quer Fazer um filme?” en Vale do Capao
(Brasil, 2019). Es el cocreador de las seis primeras ediciones (2012-2017) del
programa de intercambio entre directores de la Escac y músicos para el audiovisual
de la Berklee College of Music.
Tras un viaje de tres años por Sudamérica antes de la pandemia, vuelve a
Málaga. Ciudad natal desde donde decide tomarse en serio el cachondeo “El Gran
Cachondeo Mundial” es su último trabajo.

Josecho de Linares (Malaga, 1984)
Director, screenwriter and actor, he has developed his

career for years in Barcelona where he participates as co-
author of the ensemble film Puzzled Love (2011) and

writes and directs the short film Mi Ojo Derecho (2012)
with 344 selections and 137 international awards. He also
gives voice to the character "El Canijo" in the third
season of the animated series Arros Covat. In 2017 he
made the experimental feature film Desaparecer,
premiered in 2018 Málaga Film Festival, as an actor and
director of the project. When the film is over, he begins a
two-and-a-half-year trip on sailboats, bicycles, vans, on
foot or hitchhiking through South America. During his
time in Ecuador he films the documentary Rumbo al Sol
del Amazonía (2018). With the pandemic, he returns from
the south of Chile to his native Malaga and since then he
tries to see the sunset every day, if possible from the sea.

Vocational teacher, professor at the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisual de Cataluña (Escac)
for six years, co-creator of the Escac-Berklee College of Music meetings and professor at the
Tecnológico Universitario de Cine y Actuación (INCINE) in Ecuador. He has also conducted
courses and workshops in other countries such as Egypt or Brazil, in line with his purpose of
helping other creators to listen to their own voice and share it with the world. Currently he
combines his work as a creator, creative advisor and teacher while preparing new projects as the
feature Marengo from his film craft production project "Paciencia Presenta".
