In 2018, on the 200th anniversary of San Martin’s victory, a group of adventurers with limited logistics traversed the Andes Mountains for 8 days, crossing more than 200 km on horseback following the footsteps of the Liberator.
When reviewing the audiovisual material generated from the trip, the need to share San Martín’s story arose. Thus was born the documentary "Huellas de Libertad" by Ariel Fathala. In addition to recording the journey in first person, it is interesting to see the emotional aspects that the protagonists go through during the journey and the challenges they face throughout this beautiful adventure. Likewise, the historical information and graphic animations with the layout of the route bring the viewer closer to forming an experiential idea about the epic story of San Martín.
