La Residencia de Guions (5ª edición) es una convocatoria de desarrollo organizada por la Acadèmia del Cinema Català, con sede en Cataluña, España. Está orientada a proyectos cinematográficos en etapa de escritura y se enfoca en el acompañamiento creativo de guionistas a lo largo de un proceso prolongado de trabajo.
La convocatoria está abierta del 19 de enero al 23 de febrero de 2026, hasta las 15:00 horas. La residencia se desarrollará entre septiembre de 2026 y mayo de 2027, con una duración aproximada de nueve meses.
Está dirigida a proyectos de largometraje de ficción, documental y animación. El programa funciona como un laboratorio de desarrollo y residencia de escritura, no como mercado ni pitch, y prioriza el trabajo profundo sobre el guion.
La residencia acepta postulaciones internacionales, manteniendo un compromiso con la diversidad y con la presencia de proyectos vinculados a la lengua y cultura catalanas, sin restringirse exclusivamente a postulantes nacionales.

Residencia de guiones ACC
Locarno Residency 2026 is an international development and mentorship program organized by the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland for emerging filmmakers working on their first fiction or documentary feature film. The initiative supports directors during the transition from short-form filmmaking to feature-length cinema through tailored mentoring, creative guidance, and industry-focused development activities.
Applications are open until June 5, 2026, and the program is aimed at international filmmakers under the age of 40 who have previously directed a short film or documentary that has screened at a film festival. Eligible projects must be first feature films longer than 60 minutes and currently in development.
The program begins during the 79th Locarno Film Festival, taking place from August 5–15, 2026, and continues through an extended mentorship and development process. The residency focuses on script development, project refinement, and preparing emerging filmmakers and their projects for future production and industry opportunities.

Locarno Residency
La convocatoria del Laboratorio de Cortometrajes de Género Fantástico – FantasoLab 2026 abre postulaciones del 22 de enero al 20 de febrero de 2026. Se trata de un laboratorio formativo pensado para creadores de cortometrajes de género fantástico —como ciencia ficción, fantasía y terror— que buscan desarrollar sus proyectos con apoyo de talleres, tutorías y sesiones de trabajo. El foco está en cortometrajes en etapa de desarrollo de entre 7 y 15 minutos, con una primera versión de guion lista al momento de postular.
La realización principal del laboratorio será del 6 al 11 de abril de 2026, con actividades previas y trabajo individual entre finales de marzo y principios de abril. Si bien la organización está basada en Colombia, la convocatoria acepta postulaciones internacionales, especialmente de creadores de Iberoamérica, aunque se da prioridad a talentos colombianos. Sundance Institute
CineMart, the 43rd edition of IFFR Pro’s co-production market, will take place during the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam from January 29 to February 8, 2026. For the first time, it introduces CineMart x HBF, highlighting projects supported by the Hubert Bals Fund. The call is open for feature-length and immersive projects in development seeking co-production and financing partners. There is a tiered fee structure: early (€25 excl. VAT) until July 7, 2025; standard (€35) until August 21; late (€55) until the final deadline on August 27, 2025. Projects must be debuting at Rotterdam, viable, and led by a director-producer team.
