The Center for Cinema and Creation (CCC) in Chile and Cineka, The Place Where Stories Happen, in Mexico, through Grupo SURA, aims to contribute to the development and consolidation of the work undertaken by civil society groups and collectives in building collaborative spaces through audiovisual exhibition. They invite individuals representing collectives, groups, and independent organizations to participate in the First Collaborative Cinema Meeting, a call for projects focused on independent audiovisual exhibition to be developed and practiced in the Latin America and Caribbean region, seeking to build community around cinema.

The Talents Guadalajara 2025 program, organized by the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), opens its application period from October 15 to December 19, 2025. The event will take place from April 19 to 22, 2026 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The call is aimed at film and animation professionals, accepting both national and international applications, particularly from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Spanish-speaking residents of North America, and graduates from certain Spanish-speaking film schools. Candidates from various disciplines are welcome, including directing, acting, screenwriting, cinematography, sound, production, and distribution.

The program offers specialized areas such as Acting/Directing Studio, Camera Studio, Script Studio, Sound Studio, Talent Motion Studio, and Talent Project Market, the latter focused on feature-length projects in development. Accepted formats vary by discipline, including demo reels for creative professionals and feature film dossiers for the Project Market. Talents Guadalajara aims to promote training and project development in an international environment of collaboration and learning.

The ScriptLab Story Editing 2026 call by TorinoFilmLab is a training program for professionals aiming to work as story editors in the development of fiction feature film scripts. The application deadline is 3 November 2025, and the program runs from April to November 2026 with both in-person and online modules. The base country is Italy, with some workshops in Luxembourg and Estonia, and it is open to international applicants from around the world with relevant experience in film and script development. The focus is strictly on fiction, not documentary or animation. Applications require a single PDF in English including a motivation letter, CV, and a personal video message. The participation fee is €1,500 (+ VAT), covering training and residential accommodation, while travel and additional meal costs are on the participant. Partial scholarships are available, and one full scholarship is offered to a Brazilian professional.

The International School of Film and Television (EICTV) offers a Master’s in Fiction Film for the 2025–2028 period, aimed at filmmakers interested in developing feature film projects in a creative and professional environment. The program combines technical and artistic training, including a creative lab called FICCLAB, where students develop their films with guidance from specialized filmmakers, creating scripts, production design, and exploring cinematic language.

Six students will be selected for the program, which includes in-person training in Cuba and online components. The program runs from February 2 to September 25, 2026, with a fee of 9,000 euros and a diploma issued by EICTV, recognized by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Applicants must submit a motivation letter of up to three pages explaining their project and motivations, along with a portfolio of previous work. The application deadline is October 20, 2025, and the program seeks candidates aged 22 to 30 who wish to advance in feature film development in an international and creative setting.

The FeatureLab 2026 call by TorinoFilmLab is a training programme for feature film projects at an advanced development stage, designed for teams of directors and producers worldwide. The deadline for applications is 2 December 2025 at 16:00 CET. The programme takes place in Italy (Turin) and online from June to November 2026, with two residential modules and one online module. It is an international call open to applicants from any country. It accepts first or second feature film projects in genres including fiction, creative documentary, experimental, and animation, as long as the project exceeds 60 minutes and is in advanced development. This is a development and training lab, focusing on artistic, creative, production, and promotion strategies, rather than a market event. The format accepted is feature films; short films and series are not eligible. Selected teams participate in workshops and conclude with presentations at the TFL Meeting Event, with opportunities to compete for production awards. Participation requires submission of materials in English and full availability for all scheduled activities.
