El Salón de Productores y Proyectos Cinematográficos FicCali surge hace 7 años, como una iniciativa orientada a fortalecer la industria cinematográfica de Cali y el Valle del Cauca, en el marco del Festival Internacional de Cine de Cali. El posicionamiento del Festival invitó a reflexionar sobre la importancia de generar un espacio dedicado al mundo de la producción cinematográfica que funcionara al menos en dos vías: como un medio para explorar los proyectos cinematográficos emergentes del Valle del Cauca y como una herramienta para preparar e impulsar a los productores participantes para un entorno de mercado audiovisual internacional.

SAPCINE - FICCALI
The seventh edition of Rio2C 2025 invited creators and producers to pitch their audiovisual projects in categories such as documentary/factual, animation, fiction, reality, and podcast. Both Industry (for companies with CNPJ) and Talent (for individual creators with CPF) pitching sessions provided a platform to connect with executives from streaming platforms, TV channels, production companies, and distributors, facilitating opportunities for co-production, licensing, and distribution. Selected participants received prior training to enhance their presentations. Additionally, projects registered in the Business Rounds had the option to participate in the corresponding pitching session, increasing their visibility and collaboration prospects.

Rio2C
The IDFA Forum 2025 call for entries is open from June 2 to July 25, 2025. The forum takes place in November in Amsterdam, during the IDFA Festival. Creators can submit creative documentaries (feature-length, series, or immersive/interactive projects) in one of four categories: Forum Pitch, Rough Cut Presentations, Producers Connection, or DocLab Forum.
Projects must be in development, production, or post-production. Submissions require audiovisual material (teaser, clip, or rough cut), synopsis, financing plan, and production strategy. If pre-selected, further materials are due in August.

Proyecta es una iniciativa del mercado audiovisual Ventana Sur destinada a fomentar la coproducción internacional entre Europa y América Latina. La 8ª edición se celebrará en Buenos Aires, Argentina, del 1 al 5 de diciembre de 2025, dentro del marco de Ventana Sur, con una sesión de pitching presencial el 3 de diciembre y actividades de networking durante el evento. Proyecta acepta postulaciones internacionales, abiertas a productores de Europa y América Latina que presenten proyectos de largometraje en desarrollo (primeras o segundas películas) tanto de ficción como de no ficción. Los proyectos seleccionados serán presentados ante profesionales de la industria, coproductores, agentes de ventas y programadores con el objetivo de facilitar acuerdos y financiación. La convocatoria no está orientada a cortometrajes ni animación; se centra exclusivamente en largometrajes de más de 60 minutos que buscan socios de coproducción internacional. La convocatoria 2025 reunió doce proyectos seleccionados de diversos países, demostrando el enfoque internacional de la convocatoria. La inscripción cerró previamente a octubre, con anuncios de seleccionados realizados en octubre de 2025. Proyecta opera como un espacio de pitch y coproducción dentro del mercado Ventana Sur, contribuyendo a conectar talento emergente con oportunidades globales.

Proyecta – VENTANA SUR
The IBF Europe – Minority Co‑production call by the IDFA Bertha Fund targets creative international documentary projects. Projects must involve at least one European producer and one non-European co-producer, and the director can be from any eligible country. All nonfiction documentary genres are accepted, typically in cinematic format with a minimum duration of 60 minutes.
The next application deadlines are April 1, 2026, and January 15, 2027. Selected projects receive funding in three installments: the first payment (50 %) after contract signing, the second (30 %) upon submission of the rough cut or offline final cut, and the third (20 %) after completion of the film and submission of the final financial report. The first payment is expected between July and October 2026, while the remaining funds depend on the project’s progress, with final delivery required by December 1, 2027.
This fund supports international collaboration, encouraging high-quality documentary productions and fostering cultural exchange between European and non-European producers.
