One evening, Simon a saxophonist and occasional babysitter, is tasked with looking after eight-year-old Charlotte until her father comes to pick her up. However, Simon and Charlotte struggle to connect at first. As Charlotte desperately waits for her father, who doesn’t show up, the sadness within her eventually touches Simon, and the two end up forming a bond of friendship.
