Carlos Martínez Pérez (Cantabria, España, 1984)

Director de cine documental cántabro especializado en el ámbito social. Ha trabajado en publicidad (Mediapro) y actualmente dirige la serie documental “Paseos con ciencia” para agencia de comunicación científica La Doctora Álvarez, con la dirección de su productora en Cantabria, Anchoa Films y la enseñanza de cine comunitario en el ámbito rural en el proyecto de su creación Cine en Comunidad. Debutó en la ficción en 2024 con el cortometraje “Piruletas”.

Carlos Martínez Pérez (Cantabria, Spain, 1984)

Director from Cantabria, Spain, with a strong focus on social issues. He worked in television advertising (Mediapro) and is currently directing the documentary series Paseos con ciencia for the science communication agency La Doctora Álvarez. Alongside this, he heads his own production company based in Cantabria, Anchoa Films, and leads Cine en Comunidad—a project he created to teach community filmmaking in rural areas. In 2024, he made his fiction debut with the short film Piruletas.
