Biofilmography
Award winning director - Eveline Schönfeld was born 1998 in Papenburg, Germany where she made her first short films with her sister at the age of 10.
In 2016 she completed her final degree and moved directly to Cologne, where she began her directing studies at the Macromedia University, which she successfully completed in 2020. Her documentary short "Be the frog!", which is about her disabled grandfather, has been nominated for various festivals across Germany (Filmschoolfest Munich, the Bamberg Short Film Festival, "Eat my Shorts!" Festival, where she won the golden Adam for the best film.) She also won the Audience Award at the Macromedia Screening 2019 and the Volker Rodde Award 2019. Also she was part of the "Dokfenster 2019", where she talked about filmmaking in front of school classes. She is currently working as a Freelance Filmmaker and is taking part as a jury in some Festivals (Eat my Shorts! 2021, Blende Eins 2022). In addition to her excellence scholarship at university, she got 2 artists scholarships from the ministry of Culture and Science 2021 and 2022. Her graduation film "Release" was nominated for the short film competition at the Cairo Filmfestival 2022.
