The GALICIAN FREAKY FILM FESTIVAL is the ultimate event of cinema and freak culture. As the International Freak and Fantastic Film Festival of Galicia, it showcases a carefully curated national and international selection of audiovisual pieces that are often deprived of the usual distribution channels. Many times, these are unpublished pieces in Galicia, with significant world, international, and national premieres. It is the only festival in the world that subtitles all foreign films in Galician.

The ESPIELLO, INTERNATIONAL ETHNOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL is organized by the Culture department at the Sobrarbe Comaraca (an institution covering 19 local town halls) and benefits from considerable participation from local residents who make up the permanent Festival Committee.
