WIP Europa 2026 at the San Sebastián Film Festival is an industry-focused section designed to support the completion of European feature films in post-production. Its goal is to promote European cinema production and enhance the international circulation of selected projects among industry professionals. It is aimed at fiction or documentary feature films over 60 minutes with majority European production involvement.

The application period runs from June 1 to July 1, 2026, while the event will take place during the festival on September 21, 22, and 23, 2026 in San Sebastián, Spain. The call is open to international applicants as long as the project meets the requirement of being majority European, so it is not limited to national submissions.

This program falls under the Work in Progress (industry/market section) and is exclusively focused on feature films in post-production. It does not accept short films or series. Selected projects compete for industry awards that include post-production services, distribution support, and a cash prize.
