The contest takes place June 7–15, 2025, in various towns on the island of La Palma, Spain. There are two categories: Andrómeda (professionals) and Lyra (beginners), with registration open until May 31. Films must be 1–4 minutes long, shot at least 50% on location in La Palma, and follow the Festivalito’s sustainability guidelines. The Desafío Buñuel 2025 is a film rally held in Teruel, Spain, from August 27 to 30. Filmmaking teams must submit fiction scripts inspired by Luis Buñuel’s film Belle de Jour. Short films should last between 5 and 10 minutes and be shot during the event, using outdoor locations and local extras.
The call is open to filmmakers of any nationality. To participate, scripts, the director’s filmography, and the list of team members must be submitted by May 18. Selected projects will be announced on June 10.

ABYCINE Lanza 2026 is the audiovisual industry market of the Independent Film Festival of Albacete (Spain), focused on supporting film projects and creating professional networking opportunities within the independent film sector.
