Blood Window – WIP 2026 is a call held in Mexico, aimed at filmmakers, producers, and creative teams from Mexico and Ibero-America. It focuses on fiction feature films of at least 65 minutes that are in an advanced stage of post-production.

Blood Window
The 21st International Producers’ Meeting – Fiction, part of Encuentros Cartagena 2026, will take place within the framework of the 65th Cartagena International Film Festival. It is aimed at Latin American feature-length fiction projects in development, offering professional support through mentorship, masterclasses, networking, and a final project pitch. The call is exclusively for fiction projects and does not include documentaries.
Applications are open from December 1, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The event will be held in two formats: virtual, from April 6 to 10, 2026, and in-person, from April 13 to 17, 2026, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. This call welcomes participation from Latin American teams, aiming to strengthen the professional development and visibility of new feature-length fiction projects in the region. FERATUM Pitch Hub 2026 es una convocatoria internacional organizada en México como parte del FERATUM Film Festival, enfocada en impulsar proyectos de largometraje de ficción en desarrollo dentro del cine fantástico. Está dirigida a guionistas, directores y productores de México e Iberoamérica, así como a participantes internacionales, siempre que los proyectos cumplan con los requisitos de la convocatoria, incluyendo un guion escrito mayoritariamente en español.
La iniciativa está orientada a proyectos de los géneros de terror, fantasía, ciencia ficción, thriller, suspenso, gore, western, humor negro y otros subgéneros afines. Los participantes seleccionados recibirán capacitación especializada para perfeccionar su presentación antes de exponer sus proyectos ante profesionales de la industria, con oportunidades de vinculación, financiamiento y premios.
La convocatoria permanece abierta del 1 de julio al 13 de septiembre de 2026. Los proyectos seleccionados se anunciarán el 11 de octubre de 2026. Las actividades del Pitch Hub se desarrollarán del 5 al 7 de noviembre de 2026, dentro del FERATUM Film Festival, que se celebrará del 5 al 8 de noviembre de 2026 en Michoacán, México.

The Short Film Project Laboratory will take place in person on April 18, 19 and 24. With the main objective of promoting the production of short films, the Laboratory has the experience of professionals who work in the audiovisual area.

Laboratorio de Proyectos de Cortometraje - CURTACINEMA
The “From Page to Screen” call is a joint initiative by the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG) and the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL), aimed at connecting the audiovisual industry with Ibero-American literature. It targets companies, producers, and professionals who develop, acquire, or produce content for film, television, or streaming platforms with an interest in literary adaptations.
Applicants must fill out a registration form and submit a PDF including company details, professional background, adaptation experience, and goals for participation. While no specific formats or genres are mentioned, commercially viable or industry-relevant projects are preferred.
Up to five participants will receive support: two grants include travel (one domestic, one international), and three include lodging, accreditation, and a table at the FIL Rights Center. Selected participants gain access to professional events, catalogs, and networking opportunities during FIL 2025.
The call is open from August 6 to 29, 2025, with results announced on September 17. The in-person program will take place in Guadalajara from November 30 to December 3.
