The Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM) 2026 opens the Rough Shorts call, a post-production editing lab for short films. Applications are open until February 23, 2026, with selected projects announced between April 20 and 22. The lab activities will take place from April to June, culminating in the projects’ participation in the BAM from July 6 to 10, 2026.
The call is open to Colombian individuals or legal entities, including directors and producers, and does not accept international submissions. It accepts short films in fiction, documentary, animation, hybrid, or experimental formats, with a duration between 7 and 25 minutes and a completed first narrative cut.
Rough Shorts is part of BAM’s Market Strengthening and Intelligence Path, providing selected projects with specialized guidance in editing, development, and screening preparation. The initiative aims to enhance the final quality of the short films and support their trajectory in international festivals and markets.

In Vitro BOGOSHORTS Film Market (BFM) 2026 is a project development lab within the Bogotá Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS, created to support emerging Colombian filmmakers. The program helps first-time filmmakers develop and produce their debut short films through professional mentoring, specialized guidance and a package of production support for the selected project.
The call is open to teams composed of a director, screenwriter and producer who are Colombian nationals and residents of Bogotá. It accepts fiction, documentary and experimental short film projects with a maximum running time of 10 minutes that are in the development stage and intended to be produced in Bogotá. The lab will take place from December 1–8, 2026, during the 24th edition of BOGOSHORTS.
Applications are open from April 9 to August 6, 2026, and the selected projects will be announced on October 23, 2026.

Incubadora BOGOSHORTS Film Market (BFM) 2026 is an industry platform within the Bogotá Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS, designed to support Ibero-American short film and web miniseries projects in development, pre-production, production, post-production or distribution. The call is open to teams composed of a director and producer, who will participate in professional meetings aimed at fostering co-production opportunities, financing, strategic partnerships and project circulation.
The program accepts fiction, documentary and animation projects, creating a specialized environment where filmmakers connect with audiovisual companies and industry professionals. Incubadora BFM will take place from December 1–8, 2026, in Bogotá, Colombia, as part of the 10th BOGOSHORTS Film Market.

Berlinale Talents 2026 es un programa profesional del Festival Internacional de Cine de Berlín que se celebrará del 13 al 18 de febrero de 2026. La convocatoria está abierta hasta el 3 de septiembre de 2025 y está dirigida a cineastas y creadores con experiencia demostrable en largometrajes, cortometrajes, series o telefilmes, en géneros como ficción, documental, híbridos o realidad virtual. Los proyectos deben estar en etapa avanzada de desarrollo y haber tenido presencia en festivales o distribución reconocida. Los seleccionados participarán en talleres, mentorías y laboratorios para fortalecer su carrera y ampliar su red internacional. La postulación se realiza en línea, completando un perfil profesional y presentando el proyecto. No hay costo de inscripción, pero los gastos de viaje y alojamiento corren por cuenta del participante.
