La Beca Jenkins-Del Toro 2025 es una convocatoria dirigida a personas físicas de nacionalidad mexicana interesadas en cursar licenciatura o maestría en cinematografía en el extranjero. La postulación está abierta desde el 1 de diciembre de 2025 hasta las 23:59 (GMT-6) del 6 de febrero de 2026. Para participar, los aspirantes deben presentar un trabajo cinematográfico original (mínimo 5 minutos en cortometraje o 45 en largometraje), además de cumplir requisitos académicos y de dominio del inglés. El premio consiste en un apoyo económico de USD 60 000 anuales netos, que cubre colegiatura, alojamiento, manutención, vuelos internacionales, seguro médico y gastos de libros/materiales durante los estudios. El ganador debe mantener un promedio académico alto y se selecciona mediante comité y jurado especializado. La beca se entrega en el marco del Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara, cuya edición 41 se celebrará del 17 al 25 de abril de 2026. Este beneficio posibilita estudiar en cualquier institución internacional elegida por el becario.

Beca Jenkins-Del Toro
Consiste en un innovador taller en Latinoamérica, inspirado en el Festival Jackson Wild Media Lab de @jacksonwildorg, en el que 12 becados aprenderán de líderes de la industria audiovisual sobre comunicación de la ciencia, realización de proyectos audiovisuales e impacto, y se verán desafiados a realizar un cortometraje que se presentará dentro del festival.

LUSCA, International Caribbean Fantastic Film Festival (LUSCA) is presented by Puerto Rico Film Academy, Inc. Its main objective is to promote the cinematographic art through the presentation of high quality films. LUSCA is an event that is celebrated in different places in Puerto Rico and lasts fifteen (15) days.
The script must be in one of the genres promoted by the LUSCA Fantastic Film Fest (fantasy, science fiction, comedy, bizarre).

LUSCA Film Fest - Screenplay Contest
The Rotterdam Lab 2026 is a program for emerging international film producers seeking to expand their professional network and develop feature-length projects with international co-production potential. It is open to independent producers, freelancers, or junior producers in production companies, with no age limit, who have completed at least two short films and are working on their first or second feature.
The program prioritizes diversity and inclusion, especially welcoming applicants from minority, indigenous, LGBTQIA+, neurodiverse, disabled communities, or underrepresented regions in the international film industry.
Selected participants receive full access to IFFR Pro and CineMart 2026, including accreditation for meetings, screenings, networking events, and five nights of accommodation. Travel expenses are not covered.
The lab takes place during the International Film Festival Rotterdam, from late January to early February 2026. Applicants must submit an application form, CV, and motivation letter, with an optional portfolio or dossier. The main focus is on the international potential of the project and the producer’s ability to contribute to and benefit from the lab.
