Sundance Institute
CineMart, the 43rd edition of IFFR Pro’s co-production market, will take place during the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam from January 29 to February 8, 2026. For the first time, it introduces CineMart x HBF, highlighting projects supported by the Hubert Bals Fund. The call is open for feature-length and immersive projects in development seeking co-production and financing partners. There is a tiered fee structure: early (€25 excl. VAT) until July 7, 2025; standard (€35) until August 21; late (€55) until the final deadline on August 27, 2025. Projects must be debuting at Rotterdam, viable, and led by a director-producer team. Feature films need a minimum 60‑minute runtime, full script available during CineMart, at least secured national or third‑party funding, budgets under €6M, and international coproduction potential. Immersive works (VR/AR/MR/360°) should be in development, with ≥25 % of the budget secured, created by experienced immersive artists, new to the market, with full documentation in English. Rotterdam - Cinemart
The European Film Market (EFM) 2026 will take place from February 12 to 16, 2026 in Berlin, Germany. berlinale - European Film Market
El Galician Freaky Film Festival (GFFF), con sede en España, organiza una convocatoria internacional enfocada en el desarrollo de cortometrajes de género fantástico. Esta iniciativa busca impulsar proyectos originales dentro del terror, la ciencia ficción y otros subgéneros vinculados al concepto “freak”, orientándose específicamente a obras en etapa de desarrollo que aún no han sido producidas.
La convocatoria está abierta a participantes de cualquier nacionalidad, incluyendo personas físicas, productoras, escuelas de cine y entidades similares. Los proyectos seleccionados participarán en una instancia de pitching, donde deberán presentar y defender su propuesta ante un jurado profesional durante el festival.

GFFF - Freak Pitch
En el marco del 11° Festival Internacional de Cine Antofagasta/Chile, ANTOFACINE, se desarrollará de forma online la tercera edición de AntofaLAB, laboratorio de proyectos que tiene por objetivo potenciar producciones realizadas en la zona norte de Chile (Antofagasta, Arica y Parinacota, Tarapacá, Atacama, Coquimbo), y en los países limítrofes del norte de Chile (Perú, Bolivia y Argentina).
