It targets filmmakers who have demonstrated national talent and seek to expand internationally. The program includes talks with renowned filmmakers, panel discussions, case studies, and networking events focused on global documentary market trends and challenges.
Applicants must submit a form including their biography, filmography, motivation, and learning goals. Optional materials include ongoing projects and audiovisual samples. IDFAcademy is not a traditional project development lab but a professional training and networking platform.
The application deadline is August 1, 2025, and the program runs from November 13 to 16, 2025, in Amsterdam. About 100 participants from around the world will be selected.

The Venice Production Bridge 2026, part of the Venice International Film Festival in Italy, is an international audiovisual industry market focused on supporting film financing, co-production and project development. It brings together producers, funds, sales agents, distributors and industry professionals from around the world.
The call accepts international fiction, documentary and animation projects, mainly feature-length productions, including projects in development, production, post-production and seeking financing opportunities. Its main programs include pitch sessions, work-in-progress presentations and professional market meetings, such as the Venice Gap-Financing Market and Final Cut in Venice.
The 2026 edition of the Venice Production Bridge will take place from September 3 to 9, 2026, within the framework of the Venice International Film Festival. Submission deadlines vary according to each section: Venice Gap-Financing Market closes on April 30, 2026, Final Cut in Venice closes on June 9, 2026, and Book Adaptation Rights Market closes on May 25, 2026.

Venice Production Bridge
La Incubadora Queer Latinoamérica es una iniciativa de SANFIC Industria destinada a apoyar proyectos de largometraje de ficción en la etapa de escritura de guion. Esta convocatoria tiene como objetivo visibilizar voces queer desde una perspectiva latinoamericana, seleccionando hasta seis proyectos liderados por personas que se identifiquen como parte de la comunidad LGBTIQ+ o cuya identidad y expresión de género sea central en su trabajo creativo. Los proyectos seleccionados recibirán asesorías grupales y personalizadas de profesionales internacionales. La fecha límite para las postulaciones es el 26 de mayo de 2025, a las 12:00 p.m. (UTC -4), y el evento se llevará a cabo del 17 al 22 de agosto de 2025, dentro de SANFIC Industria. Los proyectos elegibles deben estar en la etapa de escritura de guion, contar con un deck artístico y ser liderados por personas cuya perspectiva creativa refleje identidades y expresiones de género no normativas.
